I just don't like these things... not because it isn't an awesome machine, but because they fall in a grey area between Ebikes and motorcycles. As a motorcycle rider, I have to have a plate and insurance vs. these things which folks do neither and then ride them in the bike lanes doing 40+ and ignore stop signs acting like idiots.

amazing bike this one is not leagel to ride on are roads hear were i live for it to be a ebike has to have pedals and have 750 watts or less you can get bigger ebikes and ride them on the road hear you do have to get a vin number and a regstaion and have insurance on it and tags to ride it on the road ebike laws very from state to state i would look up the laws to make sure it is street legal if not you would have to register the bike with the dmv just make sure they could fine you or throw you in jail for riding this ebike after looking up the bike on the website says NOTICE: THIS BIKE IS SOLD FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. I'm a big fan of this bike. I can't decide between it and a traditional ICE dual sport (KLX300sm, CRF300 rally)... The Talaria is probably a little less practical, but it just seems to promise so much fun!

Anything 2 wheels is a real bike. I’m excited for tech on emotorcyles to evolve over the years. I live in northwest Indiana and winter sucks. Last cold snap people were abandoning their ecars at supercharge stations cuz it was taking over 5 hours to charge their teslas. But an emotorcyle for spring summer and fall, with next to no routine maintenance, that I could charge at work during my 12 hour shifts would be amazing.

Exactly! I still don’t think electric cars are “there” enough for me to be interested yet, but something like this is a perfect example of something electric that can really be practical for its intended use. The charging block fits in a backpack and plugs into a normal outlet. You could rip this thing to work and it’d be fully charged well before lunch time! The super low maintenance is a huuuge plus too 🙌🏻🤘🏻

First video I've seen of yours but I really hope you looked over that bike well, while buying a second hand ebike can be great they can also be a nightmare and if that battery or controller is faulty in anyway it could be a real danger not just a waste of money. Do a good diagnosis on it.

Great grab man what a steal good for you hey I msg you before about your coffmans install video and that it made me make the decision to buy coffmans for my 2008 FJR1300 and dude omg I was blown the fuck away sorry for my French lol but damn everyone at the shop was blown away and anyone that has heard this beast I also put on K&N air filter these 2 add ons has really unleashed the beast of 1300 CC its amazing and looks great and the weight savings is mad so thank you for your install video I actually never thought of coffmans and was so happy I went with coffmans instead of 2 brothers I am still totally blown away oh and the price of offmans was several hundred dollars cheaper than everyone else...

Several things to know about ebikes. There's no real reason to not have the regen braking set to it's max setting, as it offsets wear and tear on the brakes(possibly why it was mineral oil brakes). Also, the regen braking is more effective the more discharged the battery is, meaning a fully charged bike will appear to have no regen braking. And last and most disappointing thing, the effective range goes down dramatically when riding like a hooligan aka. eco mode does make a big difference in range, but who wants to ride like that on such a bike?
