I have not had any of the "bad" experiences you had. I absolutely love the Fat Bob. I'm 6'1" and don't have issues with pegs, controls, leaning into turns, riding, opening it up, low speeds, and high speeds. I'm not sure what or how some people have the bad experiences they've had. I guess everyone is different and there's a bike for everyone. Mine happens to be the 2019 Fat Bob 114

I rode professionally for over a decade in the tri states Maryland Delaware and Pennsylvania and then another decade riding stunt bikes 1985 to 2005 . At one point i had over forty grand in bikes 😅 Today i don't ride its just not safe to ride anymore. Literally last night i was driving my vehicle down a 55 mph road and a scooter battery powered passed me doing about 60mph 😅. That guy has a death wish it was late dark and lots of vehicles please use common sense when riding. I've lost count on the numbers on how many times a vehicle hit me on my bikes anyone playing in traffic or even disregarding the laws is in for hurt town guaranteed. Just because you own a bike that's fast dose not mean ypu deserve the right to ride with 2 ton vehicle's 😅
