This talk makes me think of what hospice workers say about the end of life care. They say the best way the body can go through death and naturally wants to go through that process is through dehydration. It's known trying to hydrate a dying person can actually cause more pain and lengthens the process. They actually prefer not to hydrate during death but support comfort. So it makes sense the connection.

Whoah. So that's what dying cats are up to. [I read your note to my ex-R.N. wife and she fully concurs after being the night nurse in an old folks home for 13 years.]

"We've thought our way into a really disturbing inertness" is the only phrase of this I heard while my wife was listening to this and I was doing the dishes and I said, "did that person just say 'we've thought our way into a really disturbing inertness'?" So that drew me over.

Loved this!! I’m a body worker and educator and this is what I geek out over. Under the microscope, fascia looks like a spider web made out of stretchy egg-white. The gel state of fascia makes total sense. Love the relationship of sunlight and red light with fascial hydration. Thank you!!

This was an amazing video. As a microscopist looking at live blood under a microscope and I see the dehydration and all the toxins and everything that you guys are talking about, it was very validating to know that I'm on the right path and teaching my clients all the right things. But my aha for me, the one missing piece out of all of this is the fascia and I am so grateful for finding block therapy and understanding more about fascia. I truly believe this is the secret sauce to cleaning and repairing our blood. So grateful for you guys! Blessings

Thank you so much for this. I would actually have to push myself some days to get to the 8 oz. Of h2o and then I never felt like I could quench my thirst. The book “ your bodies many cries for water got me into the adding of salt to my water and I was healed of a bulging disc within 3 days. We filter our well water to get the iron out because it stains everything and now I’m wondering if I should use unfiltered water when coooking and drinking it. 🤔 would love to have Gina’s advice on this. I am also doing the belly and fingers between my toes trying to get rid of planter fasciitis and it has helped 80%. 64 years old and found out through a deep tissue massage about 10 years ago that my so called fibromyalgia had gotten so much better 🤔 never will give up! ❤

Great clip Great questions! I stop drinking water around 2012! Very little. I haven't drank any water this year! I am very hydrated! The only time i drink water is around fall when our land becomes full of red sumac berries (malic acid) i just drop berries in water, let sit for a day! I am so glad she brough up nopal cactus!! I use with massage clients. Very powerful gel for hydration ive found and fascia mobilize!!! I rarely use, because results are so fast!!!! Even my wife who has breastfed last 7 years non stop doesnt drink water. Well maybe she does half or gallon a month. I theorized 10 years ago it was my fascia. I had no idea people were researching this stuff. Very excited!!!!

__ I've only gradually been hearing about Deanna in the past month and the word "fascia" was a sort of block, ha ha and not ha ha, a stumbling block, because as a housepainter (once upon a time) I thought fascia were just the outside, a sort of finish like a fascia board on a house. So I figured Deanna's fascia was just the stuff under the skin that held our guts in. But the Latin word is much more like a ribbon, and it turns out that Deanna meant by fascia the nearly infinite ribbon of internal connections. So suddenly very important. Also a stumbling block was I''d heard she'd done Iyengar and I too do "furniture" yoga as Iyengar's use of props is sometimes called. What I didn't know is that the block for Deanna is used as an unblocker and the practice is more related to the thing I've been avoiding for decades: more like, I don't know, acupressure, that really unpleasant digging in and holding. My wife is getting deeply into it. She had one of those release things in her calf last night. Given that I'm the Most Lost Person On The Internet, I thought this was Gina Bria's site when I started writing this note. Not to mention the other notes. It's 2024 now. How did that happen?

__ The old Newtonian model of the body I've been working with is a combo of architecture and ship, with a bunch of water sloshing around and being held in by bulkheads as I go around a corner. Hard rudder! Brace for action! A more nuanced or post-Newtonian model might have the water thinking about corners and just generally thinking. Sort of like Tom Cowan's version of blood flow where the blood isn't getting pumped, it's doing its own thing.

Great info. Wonder if she knows about the work of Dr Weston A Price who studied non-modern people in early 20th century and the commonalities in their diet. The modern diet does not help the bone structure especially noticeable in teeth and jaw. Blender drinks like processed foods do not require chewing which is important for jaw and teeth. Work of James Nestor and his book Breath concur with Dr Price.

__ The videos of the fascia from the Jean-Claude guy were impressive, although I gotta say that they are tarnished by the contemporary fashion of slipping slyly from visual mode to computer fakery. Sure, there's a fancy term for computer fakery, but that's what it is. I notice it with videos of pretend viruses, for example. It's all over the place nowadays. I particularly notice it in space videos--I watch lots of these and they become less and less persuasive as every month they are infiltrated by more and more animation. When we were kids, the species had enough honesty to clearly label space comics as "animation." They would do it in large block letters. Nowadays watch any video with the word "SpaceX" in it and it's a sly (that word again) mix of visual (what I call real at this level) and computer-generated PR releases from headquarters. Sly because the two modes are undifferentiated. On a related note, I like Joe Dispenza but it took me a long time to understand that his videos of neuronal interactions were computer generated. It seems obvious once you say it to yourself. I mean, how are they going to get a camera in there with a lens that's going to work not just at that scale but at that intensity of liquid solution? What are they gonna have, tiny windshield washers? With the fascia vids it was disappointing to feel as if we were really getting some straight dope on the most essential system of the body. I was like: geez, how would the camera film all that in...in what? What's the medium here? And then to have the narrator mention en passant, as the French surely say, that it was computer generated, left me going back mentally and having to decide which part of the vid I believed. Because computers can generate any old thing in this age of fakery. The first part, which we also saw farther along in the six-minute version, certainly looks real, but it raises questions which my wife tends to have as well. She's a witch who leads "space" meditations where the meditator is encouraged to transcend the usual spatial limitations of the body and to think, for example, of an infinity of space between the ears (okay, that's my joke but it's not far off from what she encourages). This is important work I think--both my wife's and Gina's and Deanna's, but neither of us could figure out what the space in that video is composed of. Vitreous fluid? Air? Nothing? But if nothing, it's a vacuum, which in elastic media tend to pucker or suck inward, I think. If it accomplished nothing else, the fascia vid raised many a question. Like, where are other systems in relation to this? Are capillaries interwoven in the mix? Are nerves warping and woofing (woof!) in here somewhere? I have come from the future (2024) back to your time (2022) to ask you many questions about space travel. --David Thor

With all due respect, the title of the video didn’t really say anything about nutrition, so why would one thing they would get nutritional advice during this conversation?

@@amplifiedhealthnow7100how do you address hydration without understanding nutrition and the human body?

@@sunnygirl9691 the point I was making was that this was a podcast about fascia and hydration the commentor was looking more for a nutritional answer so I mentioned that this was not necessarily about nutrition, although hydration is about nutrition. If you want an answer based on nutrition, go to somebody in the nutrition field for an answer.

I enjoyed learning about the fourth phase of water but vegetables ARE not good for you!! I had to turn it off there.

Great question! Many people wear blue light glasses to help protect our eyes while using technology.

This is really quite fascinating! I drink a lot of H20/day as well as eating lettuce, kale, berries, apples, prunes, etc. I haven't really included chia seeds in my diet but will try them out. I do move a lot with daily exercises for balance and bone health. Thanks so much! 💦💙💧🍇🍈🍉🍋🍎🍐🍑🫐🍓🥝🍅🥑🍆🥒🥦🥬🍄🫑🫖🍵🍋🥜🌰
