Block Therapy - Changing Lives One Block At A Time

In this video, we took a deep dive into hydration and fascia. We talked about how water composes 99% of the body, how fruits and vegetables are not only hydrating but also carry information form the soil to benefit health, how movement is crucial to hydrate your fascia and that dehydration is a major factor in aging. This will bring a new perspective on the 8 glasses per day that we are told to drink - Enjoy!

This talk makes me think of what hospice workers say about the end of life care. They say the best way the body can go through death and naturally wants to go through that process is through dehydration. It's known trying to hydrate a dying person can actually cause more pain and lengthens the process. They actually prefer not to hydrate during death but support comfort. So it makes sense the connection.

Fabulous conversation guys, and all based around a circular, wholistic approach based on the actual way we work, rather than a linear, reductionist approach which is pretty much inculcated through western society. Just another set of reasons that explains the tragedy of our western health model and its chronic health issues-always treat the symptom and never the cause!

Had a chuckle watching this, reminded me of a Star Trek Generations scene where aliens referred to humans as “bags of water” and Data said that was an accurate description of humans, being that we are over 90% water, surrounded by a flexible container.

Great clip Great questions! I stop drinking water around 2012! Very little. I haven't drank any water this year! I am very hydrated! The only time i drink water is around fall when our land becomes full of red sumac berries (malic acid) i just drop berries in water, let sit for a day! I am so glad she brough up nopal cactus!! I use with massage clients. Very powerful gel for hydration ive found and fascia mobilize!!! I rarely use, because results are so fast!!!! Even my wife who has breastfed last 7 years non stop doesnt drink water. Well maybe she does half or gallon a month. I theorized 10 years ago it was my fascia. I had no idea people were researching this stuff. Very excited!!!!

Wow I used to drink a half gallon of water watch my tips swell up then baby would shrink them I constantly drank gallons of water. And vegetable juice and soup all day long. Making pints and pints of water you have to take that in somehow.

This was an amazing video. As a microscopist looking at live blood under a microscope and I see the dehydration and all the toxins and everything that you guys are talking about, it was very validating to know that I'm on the right path and teaching my clients all the right things. But my aha for me, the one missing piece out of all of this is the fascia and I am so grateful for finding block therapy and understanding more about fascia. I truly believe this is the secret sauce to cleaning and repairing our blood. So grateful for you guys! Blessings

Great info. Wonder if she knows about the work of Dr Weston A Price who studied non-modern people in early 20th century and the commonalities in their diet. The modern diet does not help the bone structure especially noticeable in teeth and jaw. Blender drinks like processed foods do not require chewing which is important for jaw and teeth. Work of James Nestor and his book Breath concur with Dr Price.

This conversation felt like a whole lot of opinion and not much actual science. A bummer indeed. Most vegetables were not intended for us to eat. Fruit is great, but there is a reason why the vegetables have indigestible compounds. Not quite the place to come for legitimate nutrition information.
