As a manual therapist in practice since 1995 what I've seen is that the fascia is the bridge between mind and physiology, especially fluid dynamics. Mindset and attitude definitely the biggest factor in how people age.

Hi Im Jessica from New Zealand. I had a question about how to continue to age well (62 now but physically look 20 yrs younger) A few days ago I put ? to the Universe and one of yr BlockTherapy podcasts came up. Your truth resonated with me. Alignment and Breath are foundation blocks to looking good and staying well. Block Therapy is new to me and this practise I will put into my kit of wellbeing. Definitely the longer we live we can see the outward causes of the Gravity force on our physical body. Thank you for sharing. Look forward to learning more.

I am 73 yrs old. In 1995 I had my middle 3 toes on both feet straightend because of hammer toes. I think that is where my posture problem started. My right leg would be painful for no reason. I can not sit cross legs easily. My toes and feet hurt often. I would often get sleeping legs syndrome. My posture is real bad - can not walk straight upright. I need to finish listening this blog and get to read what Block therapy means.

I love what Deanna said concerning attitude towards things and/or decisions that end up governing your life and how you age. Essentially, Brian Johnson embarked on this age defying journey based totally on fear of aging. I suppose if a doctor were to tell me I was on a fast track to dementia, I would figure out what I was doing so I could prevent that but Brian took it to an extreme. Extremes are evil.

Hey Deanna & Quinn. Does Fascia have anything to do with circulation? Blood pools in my feet, more so in the right foot & isn’t going back up to my heart. I’m assuming I have circulation problems but don’t know that for sure. I would love for you to do a video about fascia & circulation. I am so glad I found your channel. I have learned so much new information. Thank You!!🩷🩷

Hi, yes, it absolutely does! Adhesions block circulation as the fascia pulls and sticks the muscles out of alignment. When cells are out of alignment, they don't receive the flow that they need! This includes all types of flow, blood flow included.

I Wonder if all the calisthenics in proper alignment that we did as youth in our gym classes where the gym teacher was always yelling at us to stand up straight, arms out straight, reach across diagonally, keep your head up, I wonder if that helped the youth of the past?
@Fluidisometrics
@Fluidisometrics 5 ай бұрын
It is possible! With technology nowadays, it has had such a negative impact on us all, but sadly with the youth being influenced at such a young age, it shows misalignment earlier on.

Not exactly on topic with this video but I have a question about women’s menstrual cycle and blocking … I did only one day so far of a test for my stomach with my yoga block and wow - literally could feel the space, lightness and energy shift , I’ve also been using on my feet . I started my menstrual cycle and so stopped using on my stomach. I am also interested in the beginning program you offer

I’ve seen women in their 60s with bodies of like women in their 40s but their facial skin and face definitely look 60 years old so you can be very youthful in your skin on your body and not on your face. Particular women are very athletic and are Dancers. I’m assuming because there’s more muscle and more blood flow to the muscles to keep the skin in the body more youthful.

One needs to consume a wholesome veg diet if one has to derive the max health benefits, which for me & many others, far outweigh those of a carnivore diet.

Lot of people are becoming carnivores nowadays. They say they get good health because of this. Really curious to see these carnivore people after 10-15 years and how their health is wrt immunity, resistance to virus and all other bad stuff.

Uh ohhh def didn’t get the telomere piece right. Telomeres shorten as a physical process of dna replication. After the dna is unzipped and copied and helicase glues the strands back together, the dna base pairs are shifted by one base pair. To protect these single base pairs the telomeres takes on the burden of the shortening. Telomeres are created for the purposes of shortening every replication cycle. There are ways to elongate telomeres but that’s another process. You guys said the telomeres shorten bc of lack of space? Yikes. What else do you just make up? I’m very interested in this therapy but making things up is very discrediting.
