I love this!!! Using the debt snowball I have paid 56,167.99 in 3 years and 3 months, and It could have been a lot more had I not gone on vacation last year and bought 2 iPhones in between there. Thanks for sharing your tips and overall journey. It is so inspiring

Great advice for electric. I called the electric company and asked for budget billing. They take the last year and average it and that's the amount you pay monthly. Same principle

I love your content regardless of how old it is or what phase you’re in. It keeps me motivated and your voice is very relaxing to me. Single mom of 2 as well, got into debt with my first home. Have zero interest balance transfers on those debts and paying off a Heloc too bc the roof had to be completely redone as per the insurance company bc of its age even though there was nothing wrong with it 😤

Hi Dayana! 1st off congratulations on being debt free. I will be there too one day! I’m paying off my last credit card in February and will be rolling over the minimum payment to my private student loans (Navient 🙄) Do I make a lump sum payment with the new amount or pay the snowball payment on the site? They just increased my interest rate it has to go.

It’s whichever you prefer and are able to do! If I had the funds available and my savings was padded, I’d sometimes make a lump sum payment! If not, snowball it

Bring lunch to work most definitely I’m struggling with that lol. I could save money if I wasn’t buying lunch everyday 😢😅

Baby steps. Try it for 1 day a week then see if you can handle 2. Then see if you can handle 3 or 4. It’s like a game to see how much you can feel (or notice) and accept the challenge. Once you’re used to saving that money to put it towards debt payoff or savings for your future self, treating yourself to lunch on Friday will feel SO GOOD!! 😎🤑
