The very correct way to go about it where we accept the character as a separate entity and we don't just. Ignore the mind control aspect entirely!! Though now I'm curious, what is your explanation for the other characters? Are they the same ones creator!ranboo knows? Are they in on it? Or are they also characters, assumedly from the universe where character!ranboo comes from? Just an idea for further fleshing out...

Oh hello stranger who I don't know interacting with my video content! Imo the way Showfall works is as close to real behind-the-scenes as possible. Ranboo gave the other creators a lot of creative input over what they did, so I'm not gonna pretend he's dictating everything. Like I told someone else earlier, I think Ranboo set it up like dominos (or like Mouse Trap, if you will...) where they set events in motion under certain guidelines but let them play out. But like Charlie, as a totally random example, the CHARACTER is still be based on creator!Charlie but an exaggerated and dystopian version of the content creator aspect of their media presence. But I don't think character!Charlie is going to have any interactions with creator!Charlie - their universe is owned and operated by Ranboo and Criken. And Criken seems pretty intent to stay behind the scenes in a variety of ways, hence Hetch actions all following the Founder's "purpose." Does that make sense or is it a big bowl of pretentious word salad? I don't think that character!Ranboo is in on anything. I think creator!Ranboo just dropped them into this chaos and watched them struggle as an act of masochistic self-reflection. Don't quote me on that to Ranboo directly though please...

@Donteatacowman thank you for your totally random example, creator I do not know! I was definitely just curious about, yes, if the creators actually were people here running the show overseeing these characters, and not if those people are the same as their characters in this universe, because this is like, separate art from the artist taken to 11.
