How I missed this a year ago, I don't know. I love that replacement for those metal seals. I very often go to my local industrial supply shop and match up bearings and seals for stuff.

Don't use those rubber seals! I've got a warning in there that over time, they don't work. I should just take that video down. I have seals if you need them. The rubber ones get pushed out over time from crankcase pressure. I've sealed them up with moto seal, and so has Dubb. We've both had problems. I stopped using them.

You seem to have videos on everything I’ve been working on/had questions on here lately. I love it. I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to find crank seals for a Domlar I’m building and couldn’t find any info on if that type of seal would work. Made my day to know that someone has tried this type and it works. I also put sealant on the outer diameter of all the crank seals I install for extra reassurance. Thanks for the info!

I also have a PP330 that I’m building after the dolmar. It ate a bearing due to the PO never sharpening a chain and overheating the saw. Currently trying to decide on a top end configuration for it. I wanted to go with a PP380 top end but they seem to be hard to come by these days. Love this chassis though.

Glad you're liking the channel! Yeah, the 60cc cylinders are very difficult to get ahold of. I have a couple extra at this point, but they're gonna stay with me for some porting. There used to be a guy selling brand new 330 cylinders, but he must have sold out. I managed to snag one before they were all gone though.
