James & Rhonda… great upload. I can’t wait to get away from Europe & America to find people with a different way of being. I think you touched on a point which is so much of what is wrong with Europe and North America and it’s the whole underlying philosophy which leads to that life where you work hard for empty richness and are never happy. Or work hard aspiring to that and are never happy. I have always been out of step with that. It’s a left over of religion and philosophy that denies the most important parts of human existence which are not lost in South Pacific and South East Asia.

There is one group of people who I will simply call the Sea People (Bajau, perceived as nomads or sea gypsy's ) who have entire towns which are floating. These Indo stilt settlements are also considered to be Bajau . Apparently one of the largest there is called Sampella and its on an Island in Indo (Look at Discovering the World of the Bajau Tribe | The Free-Diving Sea Nomads ) . There was one in Thailand which was beautiful. They are everywhere and apparently somewhat related . Philippines, Indo, Malay, and Thailand to name a few. I did a simple search sea people Indonesia and got this title "The tribe that evolved to stay underwater longer - BBC REEL" you might like it . That thing you called a "fad" was more like what you see from one of the sea people tribes except it was a single place, sea people places can be hundreds of houses and many businesses. I have a playlist where I'm gathering info.

FADS are a common and pretty negative item, widely seen in SE Asia. They tend to be lit at night but tend not to have AIS. The FADS that are far offshore, over 100 miles, are sometimes worked by almost slave labour, men tricked and put out there to collect the fish, which are collected often.

tual is pronounced /too-ahl/. The use of roman alphabets in Indonesian is a lot simpler than that in English. Every syllable is marked by a vowel, so if you see more than one vowel in a sequence, almost 100% you have to pronounce every vowel separately

The largest crocodiles in the world are found Timor. Sometimes 20 foot. Usually 15-17 foot. They eat anything with meat on it less than 2000 pounds, unlike their alligator cousins that are normally petrified of anything bigger than a raccoon.

A sensitive question? In our culture Tatoos are quite fashionable , Indonesia being predominantly Muslim and In Islam, tattoos are generally considered "haram" (forbidden) as it is seen as altering the creation of Allah by permanently marking one's body, with most scholars agreeing that both men and women should not get tattoos what is the reaction of the Indonesian people that you have seen so far?

I do not compare other women to my lovely wife except to compliment her, but I find myself thinking about how my wife would handle these situations. Rhonda is an absolute Wonder Woman. If it comes to camping in a Hilton, I will take my wife any day of the week, but you found the perfect companion to compliment your lifestyle - as did I.
