As soon as I found this channel a few years ago, it has become a go-to for VG Docs for me. Of around 2-300 channels I subscribe to, this channel is one of about 10 that I actually utilize the bell to know of every upload. The quality put out by this channel is immense. 4 people? WOW. I'd have guessed 8-10 at minimum, judging from quality. I rarely will make a contribution to a YT channel. Only 2 or 3 have gotten that from me. This will be another, happily. You guys deserve all the views/likes/comments/patrons/whatever it may be. Hope to see more from this channel soon. Off to Patreon. Sad it's gotten to this point. Just so the rich get richer. I hope this idea and feedback gets seen by the team. I believe existing (and new once income returns) content should be transformed into shorts. For the existing content this would be an extreme value for the lower amount of effort it would require vs long form content production. Figuring out some way to build interest like the classic "...and thats why this gaming failed..." loop to hook a random viewer or someone we would like to share videos to would go a very long way. I think even partnering with paid education platforms where the current content library, which is basically detailed distilled and currated research is licensed and sold and can be used in those educational environments for students of what and what not to do in game design or the game business/industry. Game studios themselves may even be interested in some form of consulting. The 4 of you can operate as a team of consultants to identify areas where you see repeated mistakes happening at newer studios and show what bad paths they could be headed for and recommendations on how to correct their course.
