i Fell the diminishing returns after 300 int isnt worth it at 342.. i did a dummy test and having 100 strenght 300 int 100 con.. work for more damage.. i wrote all the numebers down.. and you will get more damage... overall

Why not a green gem which gives 12% damage on stunned targets on the firestaff?

Because cut flawed gems scale with int the math works out giving more dmg that's more consistent then a malachite gem that you are talking about

So my friend was running this build since they buffed (gave grit + damage) incinerate BUT he cant take it to wars because 99% of the time someone is going to break shockwave and you are guaranteed to fail landing the incinerate. i would recommend to stick with this build to oprs

This is a great build I'd suggest looking at the rapier to do the same type of combos, instead played ranged with fireball and pillar of fire but then if they get close use rapier for riposte into incinerate or evade/fleche to run away and keep ranged and continue to hit them with fire staff abilities from far away, but riposte is going to give more rend on them 24% if it's on the weapon, and incinerate is gonna hit hard as well if your rune of helios is active while using incinerate which I'd one thing to note:)

Don't run spear. I tried that after watching this video. It does work but hammer is so much better. I also tweaked the build a bit with new sandstone gems. The increase to fire damage. I have 150 com 50 stre gth and 250+ int. It feels great. My hammer has a base damage of 1000 and stafe at 954. Lots of fire damage buffs as well as rends. Also running fireball on weapon and incinerate on body piece

In the beginning Queen of Thorns is a light armor spear player hitting you for 900 and 1100 crit light attacks. How is his damage that low? I don't see any shirk.fort on you or anything.

I’m kinda in the same boat, what everyone’s been telling me is yes get expertise up as much as u can, not that it matters in outpost rush but more so u have access to more stuff like expeditions so u can get better gear. And pvp wise everyone’s told me that freedom and resilient are must have perks on armor

you need to put a flawed (20%) elemental gem on your staff. Arcane/Lightning/Void etc.

Cant remember a real fight vs someone with less than at least 3 pieces with freedom. Most of the time people run 4 pieces with several shiriking fortifocation. So the real goal with this build is to find someone u can use it against.

It wouldn't be super great for dungeons as the damage is burst oriented so i dont think it will have as much dps, that being said the aoe blast could come in handy when getting swarmed by mobs!
