Hello! AZ here. I got to learn to ride when I was 20. Felt like riding a bike so it wasn’t long before I hit up the major roads. Even cruised a highway for a couple hours on an old cruiser that liked to dump gas because of a bad carb, not a great idea.

DanDanTheFireman has a ton of great videos on riding technique and parking lot drills to help you build confidence with the bike.

I recently just got my first motorcycle and have been practicing slow speed maneuvers a lot. It's really fun to watch how others' journeys on KZbin go, so I've been enjoying some of your vids since this one popped up in my feed. Luckily it hasn't gotten too cold to ride where I live here in Texas(around 60-70F).

Slow speed is the most difficult! But practice makes perfect! I’m jealous of you Texans. In KY on dry days it’s like 35° anything warmer than that and it’s raining 🥲 I might have to move to Texas lol

That happened to me. In 1984 I had my first bike, a Yamaha RS125. I had decent gear, but no boots. I thought I would get boots when I upgraded to a bigger bike. However, one day I was on a housing estate in UK and a couple of dogs started chasing me. I tried to kick out with my right leg and the dog grabbed hold of my leg. Luckily I did get away. Accelerated. But it shook me up. The next day I went out and bought a really good pair of boots.

If you really are a teacher then please learn to speak without using "like" over and over. The last thing we need is another generation of people who can't articulate properly. "I just be ridin'." Please don't speak this way in front of impressionable children. It's not proper English.

How I am in the classroom vs how I am multitasking on a motorcycle are two completely different things. I have a life outside of the classroom. I do not have to be proper 24/7. Teachers have a switch when it comes to speaking and the environment we are in. Don’t get it confused.

@Briannah73 Yeah, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on everything you said, except for the attitude in your last snippy line. You're not multitasking while riding a bike right now so it's pretty immature and unnecessary to behave that way in public. Self control is a virtue. That's one of the best attributes you could pass on to the next generation. If you can't take reasonable criticism then don't put yourself out there. I think you've got what it takes though to be honest. Don't prove me wrong please. Ride safe.
