Fun Fact for some of the people that are kinda-to-still new: The original comic was posted 8 days after the release of Undertale and is what started what you see today. If it wasn't for this comic, this game might not have been as popular as it is today! (Note: If you already know, good for you! But as said in the first sentence, not everyone is going to know this interesting detail so please don't type out "I know this". It's great that you know this, but just because you know this doesn't mean everyone does. I just wanted to say that beforehand because some people are going to say it sooner or later.)

Still, though so many in our world are cruel, and even downright evil, we cannot give up hope for a better future. There are good people and bad people, all set in a constant back and forth pushing match. There is no single "triumph over evil", but there are happy endings out there for us if we try like Hell to grasp them. I think that this game teaches something important, something we often overlook in favor of nihilism. It's the that we cannot give in to apathy, we can't just label ourselves as a "lost cause", as that would be a self-fulfilling prophecy. We need to be more like Frisk, to face the most powerful of evils with determination and hope.

I never did genocide but if I did it would be for every injury and death dealt to Frisk. They didn't know about monsters or the old war. So the monsters who tried to kill them for personal gain if not death at least deserve to a hard smack down.
