Lol--I went to that orange school too - Kate Starr Kellogg! Across the street is Catholic gradeschool and church Christ The King. Very great Irish Catholic Population in Beverly! Lots of kids to play with on my block...St.Benedicts across 95th--plenty of kids to attend all of them! Was very segregated and racist! at the least vigorously hostile to Blacks when I grew up there during civil rights era.

They had to put up a police camera at the park because some black kid got jumped by a bunch of white teens. I believe that was about 10 years ago. It's probably not as bad as when you were here, but it is still mostly White.
