It makes sense putting her here, ive been looking at maps that roughly plot the route if Odysseus and he passes through the same straight where scyllia and charbidis (sp) are twice, if anyone is interested its the straight between italy and Sicily. Been looking as 2026 im cruising malta, Corsica, then stops for pisa, rome and Naples then back to malta.

Additionally, Scylla isn’t too far away, since the Sirens in Suffering said that Scylla was their only way home, meaning if they could pass Scylla, they’d have reached Ithaca after a little while. Similarly, after Odysseus passes Charybdis, he immediately sees Ithaca.

This saga is full of bangers, but I LOVE Charybdis. Top 5 of the musical for me. It’s such a good representation of Odysseus- warrior of the mind & ultimate wife-guy.

You pretty much got the name right, it's usually pronounced Ka-RIB-dis, with emphasis in the middle, but you did good!
