Thanks for your concern! Traditional methods like banana leaves are definitely a safer alternative-hopefully, they consider switching to more natural options. 🙏🍃

I do agree that cling films are used to wrap the cold/warm sandwiches. It's not even recommended to wrap hot foods. But in this restaurant using cling film or whatever so ever making idlis with a high boiling point, which is not at all good for gut health. Instead, they can use the traditional method of plain clothes. Restaurant owner’s ignorance should not be the cause of customer’s illness. That's my concern.

Simple Health and Safety Notice, using the plastic sheets for cooking idli is most unhealthy and dangerous to customers's health. Sharing is caring, my reports are based on my investigation when some Thailand workers died mysteriously while sleeping. Upon investigation, the health ministry found that the Thai workers used the thin PVC pipe to replace the bamboo for steaming the pullet rice for lunch and dinner. Thus, the workers were told to instead use the normal steaming port and banana leaf.

Thank you for sharing your concern and insight! Health and safety in cooking are so important-traditional methods like banana leaves can indeed be a safer and more natural alternative. 🙏🍃

3:52 Sad that plastic is used in high temperature. Thats the reason we have micro plastics in food. STUPID'idty.
@pristinediscovery26 күн бұрын
You bring up a really important point about plastics and high heat-it’s something that doesn’t get talked about enough. Do you think stricter regulations or better awareness among cooks could help solve this issue?

@pristinediscovery Please educate yourself first because cling film is specially designed to cover food or used with food. It's widely available in Western countries where there is a tough environmental safety & food safety rules in place. I feel sorry for owners for restaurant who graciously allowed you to film only for you to spread misinformation and suggest they are using dangerous cooking methods. Surely, your first job was to contact them and ask them what they were using before making inaccurate observations. Small businesses can lose their reputation because of ignorance and lazy channel hosts.

@@perrit6486@perrit6486 we neither assume nor take sides. However, to prevent any suspicion about unhealthy food preparation, usage of banana leaves might be better.

I've been to this place a few times over the last 20 years or so. Food is bland and everything is overpriced. It may satisfy the Indian food cravings of non Indians and those Indians who can't cook and are living away from their families. This is in fact the case in almost all Malaysian Indian restaurants in the Klang Valley.
@pristinediscovery26 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching & sharing your honest feedback! It’s understandable how the food might feel underwhelming, especially if you’re used to the rich and flavorful taste of home-cooked Indian meals. Wishing you a satisfying and enjoyable meal next time.

@@perrit6486 we went more than once because, as with most of the other customers, there's few other choices and people go out of desperation. As for it's popularity, the benchmark for south Indian restaurants in Malaysia has, sadly, been set so low it's disgraceful. Go and partake in the fly fest if you must, it's a free country after all.

Some of the Chinese dishes are cooked totally wrong...and with dripping oil...The cooks should be trained in handling high flame Woke cooking...Its really improperly cooked....Only the south Indian specials..like Idilis.. Puri/. wada.. chutneys etc are fine...But nobody cooks fried rice and noodles in this method and in bulk for buffet...These are made as per ala cart orders.. fresh and instant...
