Awww…the box of goodies from grandma. My husband is 40 years old and his grandma still collects goodies and puts them in boxes and bags to randomly give out to her grandkids throughout the year. Gotta love grandmas!

The best way to fly with kids is to have them sit in their car seats on the plane. They are use to sitting in it, so it may help with them adjusting to flying and having to sit still.

Tim and Jen, my recommendation for going to Hawaii with Jackson would be to fly Orlando to LA, then LA to Honolulu. Maybe with a day or two stay in LA. Especially if this will be Jackson’s 1st flight. It would give him a break.

Got engaged at Aulani earlier this year and we rented a car for $35 a day and I definitely suggest exploring outside of the resort and driving highway 3! It’s a dream Jackson as well as you guys will love looking at the mountains from outside the window! You will see an endless amount of rainbows! I’d do anything to have that experience again ❤️

I loved the "design your own ears" at Aulani. It's such a great souvenir and gave me great memories of my stay there. The scavenger hunt is also great!

Aulani is amazing! My favorite thing to do there was going to story time with uncle at the fire pit. If you rent a car remember you also have to pay the resort parking fee (unless you're DVC). If you are looking to do things outside the resort the Polynesian cultural center and the dole plantation were great places to visit as well as the north shore by all the food trucks. Have a great trip!

You need a car when you go because Aulani doesn’t offer transportation. If you just plan on being at Aulani and never leaving then Uber but beware with a car seat for Jackson. Parking at Aulani is $35 per day unless you are a DVC member. The car rental prices vary depending on time of year you go and time you spend there.

Rent a car now! Even if you have to cancel later. We just got back from Aulani, and had a car. So thankful for that. All shuttles were not running, and having independence was the best. Do waimea valley, snorkel at sharks cove, and in the lagoon to the left of Aulani.

Hi Tim and Jenn, We went to Oahu for our honeymoon. Our favorite things were: The luau at the Polynesian cultural center: they have a Polynesian village that you go see during the day, then eat a delicious traditional Hawaiian buffet while being serenaded by singers, then there is a luau show in the theater with traditional Hawaiian styles of dance and song. You pay one price for all of that, it wasn’t too expensive for all you got. We also loved the Kualoa nature preserve, which is where you can go on a bus ride and see where they shot jurassic park. It was so fun. Hanauma bay is awesome for snorkeling. We rented a car and liked doing that, it wasn’t $400 a day at that time.
