I wouldn't discount someone just because of their name. If they do a good job, they do a good job. Kirk has done a good job at Iowa. Yes, he has made some mistakes, but he has a winning program at Iowa that tends to compete with the college elite every few years. But Brian has done nothing of note. It's unfathomable that Brian still has a job despite fielding the worst offense in the country last year, and a bottom 10% offense the year before that.

@@medmuscle I’m not sold on kirk anymore. He’s stuck in his old ways of a boring offense. Needs to retire. He’s not getting the top notch recruits. Tired of hearing building a player up playing like a. 5 star. Where does that get you? 8-4? He only cares about his 500k bonus. I’ve seen him shit the bed too many times in bowl games until they finally won when I hit college. I was like, is he letting the players party before games? They never show up to power house teams. I’m tired of boring vanilla football. Needs to go. I’m not trying to discount him because of his name but it’s due to the fact they all run the same boring offense no matter what OC they bring in. They can’t even develop good QBs.

@@medmuscle What college elite? 2002? Or the ricki stanzi years? Or 2015 where they were literally the fake ID where most of the teams they beat weren’t winning teams. Offense still hasn’t changed under all the coordinators I’ve seen.

I agree… there’s NO WAY, regardless of the “players he had”, that Brian can stay in his current role as is given the past 2 seasons. There has to be some change even if that doesn’t mean he’s fired - co coordinator or something.
