I am sorry about your food poisoning, also sorry that I couldn't stop thinking about the Netflix TV show Santa Clarita Diet (which involved some "serious" food poisoning from Serbian clams ) but I''m happy hearing that you made it on the bus. I've never heard of such a wried system, they really should've included it in the bus ticket.

"Serbian clams", maybe, from a Morava river. What a BS but only for already catastrophaly brainwashed.😂😂😂

Thank you! Never seen that tv-show, maybe I should check it out 😄 And yes, not my favorite bus station i’ve been to 😅

Serbia is a land locked country, we don't have clams😂. You're probably mistaking Serbia with Syria or Siberia

I had the worst stomach poisoning eating clams in Los Angeles! I honestly thought I was going to die! I was three weeks on very strong meds; two antibiotics and Bismuth: one week on meds, then one week off and again on...and off, you got the picture! I haven't touched any shellfish ever since! p.s. is there a 'fresh water CLAM'? Serbia is not bordering Adriatic or any other sea so those "show clams' must have been shipped in from somewhere?!?

Sorry about your stomach problems; Sarajevo just didn't agree with you food wise! Try some RAKIJA (plum brandy) - people use it for medicinal purposes. You might use some carbonated mineral water with it as rakija is quite strong! You could also go to any pharmacy and get something like Bactrim to sooth your indigestion. I hope you'll recover quickly and enjoy the rest of your stay in Belgrade! Anyway, we do not have "Sour Cream" in Serbia if memory serves me correctly! We do have kind of 'Sweet Cream' called 'Mileram' (German term) or 'Pavlaka'; it's quite tasty, too, although I wouldn't recommend it for you right now!

- As a strategic location, the city was battled over in 115 wars and razed to the ground 44 times. The history of Belgrade dates back to at least 5700 BC. One of the largest prehistoric cultures of Europe, the Vinča culture.

Just returned from Belgrade with food poisoning or stomach bug. Food wasn't impressive. Sights were great. St Sava , book shop mentioned in this film and the fortress were great. People were friendly with occasional real signs of hostility. All in all definitely worth a few days of your time.

Sorry to hear that you also got food poisoning (or something else) on your trip! But glad yoy still enjoyed many other parts 😊

Food poisoning and hostility in Serbia?!? Sound like 'fake review' by a disgruntled Albanian or Bosnian propagandist trying to make Serbia look bad especially now that Kosovo government is terrorizing Serbian minority in Kosovo.

Dear Janica, I was so concerned about you!! I'm pleased you are feeling better 😊 however it can take a while to recover from food poisoning, lots of fluid to flush the poison from your system. I must say you have become my very favourite KZbinr 🎉🎉 I love your content, and your gorgeous personality, your pretty face and smile, and sweet accent. Thank you for sharing all this joy with us. Stay well, and look forward to the next adventure. Lots of love from Australia to you and your boyfriend..❤

Sound like 'fake review' by a disgruntled Albanian or Bosnian propagandist trying to make Serbia look bad especially now that Kosovo government is terrorizing Serbian minority in Kosovo. I visit Belgrade regularly every year and eat out exclusively - never had stomach poisoning EVER!!!

No, there is not. I mean ... it's Europe, isnt it? It's just different food. Very heavy compared to Western, naturally greasy though (and that's good), not so many chemicals that you're used to eat :), hell for vegans. Lady came to Serbia with poisoning already, obviously from video, didnt get it there. You can check literally thousands of Western bloggers whose main impressions from Serbia are 1. food 2. food and 3. night life. No mention of poisoning at all. Very likeable lady, but because you live to work, not work to live, she really obviously didnt have time to prepare for this trip, from apartment to restaurants choice. Well, better luck next time :). Welcome anytime.
@AlexK-yr2th Жыл бұрын
@@puraman235 Food poisoning you can attract everywhere. Its the hygiene of the person that cooks it. And just because you can put a sticker "Europe" on it, doesn't mean it is like some sort of warranty. And if she doesn't want to prepare (obviously she booked everything in advance) that is her choice. fact is that most accommodations are not up to par and not up to standard and mispresented. If things don't work or function and all the rest is at a minimum, that is whit the proprietor and not the customer. The video shows a very good state of affairs and if she got sick and if the accommodations were lousy, that is a good reflection of reality that you obviously do not like to accept. And addressing a woman with "lady" in every other sentence, isn't very respectful. It's very derogative in fact as if you are a grandfather setting her straight.
@puraman235 Жыл бұрын
@@AlexK-yr2th And let me guess, you are liberal snowflake, right?! Lady is all of sudden aggressive/ disrespectful term, really, I guess I should've addressed her as THEY ... LOL? How do you know I am not grandfather? It is very well known if you go to some African/Asian country you will hardly avoid stomach problems. The only thing I wanted to say Serbia is not known for that. You couldnt understand that doesnt mean it is impossible to happen, just very rare. I have absolutely nothing against lady, I feel bad she didnt enjoy her stay in Balgrade more, and thats it. You find yourself offended and Im glad because of that :), she didnt because there's no reason.
