Again. This is a movie. It is not a documentary. It is intended to be entertaining. Why watch a Hollywood big budget movie with Hollywood stars and be deeply disappointed that they -- of course -- get nearly everything wrong, if viewed through the lens of "it needs to be a flawlessly accurate documentary"? Further, there is no intent to make "service men and women look bad at every possible opportunity." There is only one intent -- here, and in similar movies -- and that is to tell an interesting story with interesting characters. There's way too much inference from some on the 'Net that Hollywood has "an agenda". The agenda is to make a successful entertainment. It rarely gets deeper than that.

Hey commander with regard to things being missed…Downey wasn’t even in his room. He wasn’t even there. That was an important detail don’t you think

Galloway was the best thing that ever happened to Kaffie.. without her can do attitude and radical idealism he never would've seen through the administration's smoke screen... if it had not been for Galloway.. the administration would've quietly swept Santiago's death under the rug, Jessup would be in the president's cabinet and two young men would be serving time on top of their dishonorable discharges. I swear to God. This is one of the greatest films ever produced.

I just realized her speech sounded very similar, in tone and delivery, to Jessup’s speech later in the movie. Was this a foreshadowing?

No... its Aaron Sorkins signature, overbearing, too-good dialogue.

I'm not sure whats more offensive....his blatant disrespect towards a superior officer or his baseball swing.

What the hell was that sexual harassment charge of a line at the end.
