If anything we should be thanking you for sharing your experience and how to catch big monsters as a largemouth bass even though I never been good when it comes to baitcasters I like a spinning reel
@Steve-ev6vxАй бұрын
Me either. I started out in saltwater with spinning reels and big conventional reels, and the bait casters have never felt right.

There are old sandpits around memphis, along interstate 40, I've fished 40+years bank fishing, for giant bass, on several occasions I've spotted Bass following the big spinnerbaits I throw that were Every bit of 30inches or better For a fact, and I've seen them also jump, grab and swallow full sized red winged blackbirds from tree limbs Overhanging the water 5 or 6 Different times. People don't want to believe these fish are Here. But you're so wrong! 😮

Those are good ones,my biggest bass was caught by the little T in picayune strand, it was 27" long but only weighed 9 pounds in October, because she was skinny,i caught a 24" ten pound in june there,if i caught her in june probably a 15 plus bass

Yeah one of my favorite rods to use is favorite with me yet might be a cheaper rod but through favorite I like the favorite army it comes to 7 ft medium heavy back where I'm from a lot of smallmouth bass but I'm from Michigan where I'm from there's a lot of private lakes with me I like to medium lights about 6ft11 11 like if I'm on a canoe catching largemouth that's like the perfect size I go through zebco rhino tough is a medium light rod super cheap but super good

Fish I can only dream of in Connecticut 😅

I have several places where I have to toss the bass A LOT farther than that to get back to open water, and I know it doesn't hurt them because I have caught the same 5 pounder with a turtle bite out of his dorsal fin about 8 times. Just don't toss them by the jaw, cup the whole body, and they are fine.
