Awe, this brought back memories of my childhood. We were poor, and my mother made diamond shape of different colors and patterns out of scrap fabric. She sewed it to an old white bed sheet, and made a bedspread for her bed. It was her first, and she was so proud of herself. I always wonder how she did it. Thank you for showing us how. Vivian, this is my first comment. I'm kinda new to all this. I wanted to say that I think you are so special. You take all that gifting and knowledge about sewing and break it down so we can understand. We can even dream to even make one. I do sew but everytime I watch one of your videos I learn so much. I have some health problems and can only do so much sewing. But I watch your videos over again so I'll be ready when I'm able to sew. Beautiful doily. When my mum passed away recently we found lots in her draws. I as wondering what to do with them. I bought some fabric stiffener and molded them round bowls and glasses+ vases so now have lots of little bowls that remind me all the time. Filled with little bits and bob ❤
