1:31:50 To answer the question, synergy skills and abilities only improve the relationship on the first ever use. It's totally up to you if you want to do side quests for everybody or wait till later to improve Aerith's "happy face meter". It's a bit of a tricky choice.

Oooo pain! Yeah I definitely want to see if I can boost Aerith by any quests with her so I can keep the Aerith train going but it might be a lost cause 😂😂

@@SquiddySyddy It might be a bit tough, but it's definitely not a lost cause. You can always save before meaningful conversations If you want to get the answers exactly the way you want. :D

The Cell’s degradation is very scary. But I’m with Tifa that not happening to Cloud. The signs seem like he has headaches like hell but somehow it’s not slowing him down. The way he seems like under mind control.

You can currently travel between regions via the Tiny Bronco (Cid's plane), can only travel directly via the world map later in the story. You can always tell which relationship a quest influences by the character that has dialogue when starting the quest. Might want to go to Corel region for an Aerith quest.

To go back and do other things in regions you already visited, for now you need to click on the phone booth thing at the airstrip and pay Cid to take you back to different regions.

Forgot to leave my comment for this week, so i will add it here. Traversing Gongaga is absolute hell, so i dont blame you for skimming it. You won't be able to traverse lands for a long while, so you will have to continue with the story for this. Cosmo Canyon, home of Red, i wonder what type of reactions you will have to it? That scene with Cloud and Tifa in the bedroom is very important it happens regardless of your affinity with anyone else. The game is just showing you who Cloud can open up with and how important Tifa is to him. Sephiroth is attacking Tifa for a reason. She grounds Cloud, and Sephiroth would need her out of the way to get him under his control. You will be able to do Aerith's side quest later on, but if you want her a bit higher, choose the dialouge option you think sounds the best. The relationships in the game are all important, so Aerith is dealing with a lot remembring Zack and still harboring feelings for him and all that. She needs time. Excited for the next part there should be more quest in Cosmo for you to knock out 🙏

Rebirth is doing a great job of picking up slack I felt in the romance department of Remake lol!! Being a newcomer to ff7, I didn’t really feel it in Remake - but they’re growing different in Rebirth forsure. Cosmo has been absolutely wonderful ❤️ Made me super excited for the rest of the game!

I don't know if you already play OG or not, but the Tifa's LS sequence and Cloud and Tifa bedroom scene in Gongaga are a foreshadow for some big scenes in part 3 between these two. I know you prefer Aerith, but... Based on OG, Part 3 will show you who Cloud truly loves is as there will be a confession scene from Cloud (To me, Rebirth is already clear enough about this matter)

Tifa and Cloud relationship don't advance after the events of final fantasy 7, but the remake has a chance to do either way which is leaning more towards aerith, square enix has made aerith's cloud's main love interest in other games .

@@jaden4703 Rebirth gives Cloud and Tifa kissing scene and Cloud telling Aerith that they're a comrade in their ch14 date (it's lost in EN translation), but sure dude.. These 2 scenes may be optional now, but let's just wait till part 3 to make them non-optional lmao

2:18:00 Yeah, it has become overrated, I guess. The entrances and access points of the Grand Canyon have all become so commercialized over the years. All of Arizona is becoming to midwest, with just as many Walmarts, Applebees, and Lowes around every corner it is all starting to look and feel the same. I will admit, I took a helicopter tour, and it was pretty amazing to take in all of the canyon (well as far as the eye can see) to behold its amazing scope. Something so big, so deep that has its own ecosystem. But back on the ground, we took a small hike into the valley from a bus point midway, and it was nice, but I mean part of the pathways were concrete steps, and merchandise the whole way, took a lot of the fun out of it. That was let down. Now, Cosmo Canyon, that would be one cool place to visit for sure. I would so purchase the tour on chocobo.

Tifa should be glad that Cloud is that nice. If someone decided it was a good idea to kiss me while I got a mental health crisis... Let's just say I would have told them where to stick it. Why did you not have any romantic moments with Aerith? Well, I think by not allowing Cloud & Aerith to talk about Zack, Tifa put a strain on their relationship. Cloud is now extremely insecure about Aerith's feelings for him, since he can't clear things up due to Tifa wanting to tell Aerith about Zack. Aerith meanwhile is probably also overwhelmed with sorting out her feelings, since she is in Zack's hometown right now. Give her a bit more time.

I think you got it backwards. Cloud should be glad that tifa is so nice and patient. He literally tried to kill her and instead of distancing herself or being mad at him she simply consoles him and hears him out. Cloud at this point feels really bad about what he just did and is being very hard on himself, tifa relieves his pain by instilling hope back into him. Cloud explaining his fears and conditions is something he has a hard to doing and tifa doesn’t judge him but simply listens which causes him to feel more relaxed and allows him to express more of his fears. You blaming tifa for cloud and aerith not having romantic moments is just weird. Cloud is the one straining his relationship with aerith not tifa. After hearing how aerith still might have feeling for Zack, cloud immediately calls him a loser and tells her that he’s dead. That has nothing to do with tifa. Tifa is the one trying to console her after cloud says something so insensitive.

Cloud wanted to tell Aerith about Zack, but by taking that oppurtunity from him, he now has to wait until Tifa talked to her to approach the subject. Tifa is allowed to have flaws and do mistakes. I don't get why everybody wants Tifa to be perfect. I might not like her as a character, but her flaws do make her relatable. Also, as someone who suffers from mental health problems, I find what she did here unacceptable. Cloud made himself vulnerable in that moment. I also am of the opinion that Tifa had the right to be mad at him for her attacking her.

@@celineosthaus8032 taking that opportunity away from him was the best thing for aerith, how can’t you see that? Cloud mind is completely messed up and he believes that Zack died in nibelheim, cloud being the blunt man that he is will simply tell her that he’s dead and she needs to move on. He was about to tell her that when they were in gongaga. Tifa knows that this isn’t the truth so why let him tell aerith something that’s a lie? He will be hurting her over false information. Who’s everybody? I never once claimed for her character to be perfect, it’s the very fact that she has flaws that makes her and cloud’s relationship relatable. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows but a convoluted one, their relationship seems more realistic than others. Now I will say that she let herself get caught up in the moment but that also is what makes her relatable and you have to see it from others views instead of your own. She just found out that a man who she thought didn’t care for her to much as a kid actually stay with her during her lowest point and tried to protect her when her so called friends abandoned her. She was led to believe that cloud was the one who forced her to go up the mountain and he was the one that led to her falling. After seeing all that in the lifestream and witnessing Sephiroth trying to take cloud away combined with cloud feeling like he is drifting away it’s no wonder she got overwhelmed by her feelings. I’m not saying that it was the best decision she’s made but it’s far from a bad one. Cloud needed that more than anything, when he found out he pushed tifa into mako he completely broke down and reverted back to that lifeless state he was in at the beginning of ff7. Seeing tifa almost died made cloud upset with himself for falling to protect her again. He was about to walk out the room feeling that he didn’t deserve to be near her and it was her conversation that brought his spirits up again.
