Yeah. Also, people have to remember that this is the middle part of a trilogy. The middle is always packed with information and unanswered questions so that the third part can wrap everything up. It really wouldn’t be fair to judge the ending until part 3 comes out. :D

That’s so interesting because I felt similarly.. yet I’ve been seeing so much praise for Alan Wake 2 😂 I did enjoy it but, EXTREMELY different than the first AW in my opinion

@@SquiddySyddy I know it didnt sell like they wanted it to. I've literally seen streamers play the game at launch & stop playing cause it was boring. I just felt like they tried to be to much like Resident Evil. The game felt very clunky. The fighting in the game was slow, even reloading your gun took a good while. When your character runs it feels like your walking you dog through a park, which is a big reason why I didnt bother getting all collectibles. When you come across those shadow enemies as Alan, whenever those enemies got close to you, your camera view go out of wack & go straight to your characters ass to where you can't see what's going on. The cut scenes are beautiful, but everything else felt terrible.

@@oxfierceplayxo1667 I love Alan Wake 2, I've beaten it twice. The game starts out very slow but after a few hours I finally started getting into the game and I loved almost everything about it. Alan Wake 2 is a bit clunky, but nothing compared to the first game, lol. The shadow enemies never really impacted my view much either since I waited for the first 2 major patches to release before I played the game and the FOV Slider should have helped you overcome that obstacle.

@kevincola3184 This game is honestly my biggest disappointment for a game this year. I was streaming this game for a group of friends who love Alan Wake. After the second day, they were telling me to turn the shit off cause it was boring. As for the combat, like you mentioned, i have to disagree. Original Alan Wake & especially American Nightmare combat was more fluent than Alan Wake 2 lol. Reloading weapons were better, the evading enemies felt better, and guns functioned quite well. Even the camera view in these games are better. It's basically night & day. When you went against the Taken, the camera didn't go out of wack & zoom into your characters ass where you couldn't see much. The reason why I mentioned this game tried too much to be like Resident Evil cause the controls were just a clunky mess. Why do you think during Alan Wake 2 DLC they basically gave you a shit ton of ammo? It's cause they know the combat system is just bad.

​@@oxfierceplayxo1667 I think the claustrophobic feel was intentional and I thought they improved the combat system in a few ways. With the FOV slider, you can mostly get rid of that camera issue during combat. The combat also felt like it had more weight to it, it felt more impactful, I liked that. I'm fine with not being able to dodge quite as easily/cleanly. For the most part, I really liked the combat especially because it felt a bit more stressful. As for the DLC needing so much ammo, in the main game on the normal difficulty, I didn't really have an issue with running out of ammo. I often had plenty of Med kits, pills, flares and extra ammo in the shoebox. Only on Hard did I ever actually struggle at all with ammo and supplies management. The combat system is pretty good in my opinion, but I don't think they released a DLC with extra ammo because they thought the combat system/mechanics are/were "bad". Now, if you want to talk bad game mechanics, I really think they ruined the use of the Flashlight, I don't know what they were thinking.
