So nice to see you both settling into canal life. Rufus looked to be really enjoying the run around. That was definitely some sort of pepper plant. That and the chilli plants you are growing from seeds are not frost tolerant so you will need to keep them indoors over winter. Glad you saved the canal😄. Hope that Wes had a great birthday. I’m very proud of the tiny little thing haha 🍅 The chimney top stays on with some screws that make it tight, but the chimney itself just sits on top snugly. need to get up to the Lancaster canal...no locks unless you go down to Glasson Basin...hardest bit is crossing the river Ribble..need to chose the tidal flow to cross it as it can be a bit fast....
