My dad lives 30 min from silver spring, I took my skip to silver river on Xmas break. Absolutely stunning water and manatees everywhere… I seen no monkeys tho lol LONG ride idling lol

Thanks, I believe so. Def saw smaller size boats that day. Just want to make sure you go when the water levels are higher. The river before you hit the Spring river is really sketchy when levels are low.

We started at Herlong park ramp and went straight up Lake Griffin. That will turn into the Ocklahawa River. Take that all the way down until you see the Silver river to your left. You can’t miss it the water turns clear. After that take the Silver river all the way up to the Spring. It’s a pretty easy ride and BEAUTIFUL!! There aren’t any real forks along the way. It’s a simple track

I would suggest going with someone that knows the area. The river before you reach the Silver River can be sketchy with roots and such. However if you’re careful, you can def go with at least 1 other person, without having been there. I always suggest riding with at least 1 other person, especially a ride like that.
