The tangle free turbine tool is really good, I'm impressed every time I have used it.

Will be interesting to see how dirty the post motor HEPA filter is on this when you open up the main unit for its full strip down. The turbo brush will be fine on carpets, even if its lost some of the black carbon fibre filaments, which happens with most of the dual filament brushrolls anyway, especially those on the DC50, and the V6 - its only if they are used on hard floors that they dont work as well if the carbon fibre filaments have worn away and are missing. As much as I like Dysons, I just dont have the love for the cylinder models, I always prefer the uprights and the handsticks, but the cylinders still have their fans and I'm sure you will get a good price for it when you sell it on. On the turbo brush, I think if you use a T8 screwdriver in the tiny torx screw in the brushroll spindle stub, and remove the spindle, there will usually be a build up of hair wrapped round behind that too, and many people throw these heads out because they dont have the tool to remove the drive spindle to clean behind it. I think this affected the Digital Slim DC44, DC59, and V6 with the standard 20W powerhead as well, as they were prone to getting hair trapped behind the small drive spindle in the powerhead, and you need that tiny T8 Torx driver to get the spindle off to clean behind it.

Looking forward to the refurb details. I have one and its hopeless because chokes on small things which you'd suck up with a bagged vacuum. My cyclone makes a similar leaking air noise too.

i had a DC39 a few years ago that cost me a tenner with exactly that issue., I was half expecting this to have the same problem TBH!

Love it, the tangle free turbine tool is really good. Well done my friend.

Great score. I have this and it makes the same noise. I find the noise tiring and it chokes on the smallest items. Your bin is sparkling

Hi Sam, like all your videos I enjoyed this very much. Not sure I understand why there are no filters or the thought process behind that. Whatever was Dyson thinking? I just washed the filter on my V11 which wasn't that dirty at all. Obviously they had a change of heart and began filtering their vacuums the old fashion way. My best to you sir.

Actually this DOES have *one* hidden filter that you have to *replace.* If you ask Dyson about this, they will still say it has 100% *no filters* yet from there you can see its a scam. 😑
@thereallincolntakanashi4 жыл бұрын
Oh, and if you want *100% no filters,* then you should probably consider a Rainbow or Quantum Vac. 😄

A cinetic is really expensive but good thing you got this one for free

That’s pretty much exactly same Dyson canister that I have but it’s labeled as a DC78.

Is it for sale?

Fair bargain Sam but someone once paid me to take away a Chinese hoover spritz. That's cheaper than this dyson.

Good video Sam as always dude!! You may be the best person to ask I need to buy a new hoover where would be the best place to buy and hopefully post it out would it be eBay or is there another site??
@beko19876 жыл бұрын
Manchestervacs will sell you a new Sebo at a good price and post it out! Otherwise all the usual retailers will sell and post.

Can you do a strip down video of this? I do like those. Loving the new intro, by the way!
@beko19876 жыл бұрын
Thanks there won't be a strip down video, I don't do those until I'm confident, and this is the first one I've ever had! There will be a refurb thread though

Cinetic is a scam. It HAS filters that you have to replace, not clean, REPLACE. If you ask Dyson about this they will carefully script it to try to cover it up. This was also debunked with the Cinetic upright by someone named 'Performance Reviews'. 😑
@beko19874 жыл бұрын
They've got a post motor filter, which gets the full brunt of everything the cyclone let's through, which is alot! Said filter also probably costs a fortune! (my kids love the loud house too)
@thereallincolntakanashi4 жыл бұрын
Replacement only costs $30 to $50 USD. 😄 (I dont know how much that is in Pounds, also what I post is in my name, although I do post other things also.)
@beko19874 жыл бұрын
@@thereallincolntakanashi it depends on the machine in the uk, some of the cylinders with the huge wrap around post filters cost £50 minimum. Galling when the old machines had cheap filters, then they make a filter less machine that isn't very good and still charge a fortune for them! (your avatar pic is Lincoln Loud)

(Yes I know.) Also if you want a *REAL* filterless vac, consider a Rainbow or a Quantum Vac (they cost quite alot, but you will be glad you spent the extra money in the long run, I'd buy one but my mom doesnt want to spend extra. 😑)
@beko19874 жыл бұрын
@@thereallincolntakanashi I keep looking for a cheap rainbow. Used a few that belong to other collectors and they are amazing, but massive and impractical for my house (takes me 3/4 weeks to fill the v11 up...)
