I really loved this . I think I have a soft spot for the elderly 🥺. When I finish my nursing degree I hope I can work with older people . It's just so much wisdom, patience, and love in them . I worked for a few days at the office of Villa Maria nursing home and loved it .

Could you advise me a christian saint for his intercession to overcome a really difficult case in my life? I want to start a daily prayer firstly for praising God and secondly share my needs with him.
@BreakingInTheHabit7 жыл бұрын
Not in any way to diminish the role of the communion of the saints, but why not try praising God directly for a little? As pope Francis wrote in his letter Evangelii Gaudium: "I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly each day. No one should think that this invitation is not meant for him or her, since “no one is excluded from the joy brought by the Lord”.[1] The Lord does not disappoint those who take this risk; whenever we take a step towards Jesus, we come to realize that he is already there, waiting for us with open arms. Now is the time to say to Jesus: “Lord, I have let myself be deceived; in a thousand ways I have shunned your love, yet here I am once more, to renew my covenant with you. I need you. Save me once again, Lord, take me once more into your redeeming embrace”. How good it feels to come back to him whenever we are lost! Let me say this once more: God never tires of forgiving us; we are the ones who tire of seeking his mercy."

Hi Brother, Do those in religious orders get to wear clerical collars (like diocesan priests) in addition to the habit? Or do they only get to wear the habit?
@BreakingInTheHabit7 жыл бұрын
Any priest, clerical or religious, may wear clerical collars if he likes, but most religious do not.

He only wears a stole during mass and there are all kinds of people up around the altar. I can not name a single thing at the point of 7:34 that is not liturgical abuse.

I hope so! It's just a difficult series to film because I have to go to so many places. The other series can be filmed right here in my studio.

I know this is not a request line, lol, but if you ever do more videos, so curious to see life in the foreign missions (if they send you content or fund a trip for you to go) and the LGBTQ ministry some churches are doing, thanks, paz y bien!

So is he a priest or a brother. The title says Fr. but he said he's a brother in the video?
@JUUD797 жыл бұрын
CallMeSmash All Franciscan priests are brothers, but not all Franciscan brothers are priests.
@BreakingInTheHabit7 жыл бұрын
CallMeSmash Exactly right. All Franciscans are brothers, but some are priests. Only priests can celebrate mass, as seen in this video.

Can a lay friar get married?
@lyndavonkanel86032 жыл бұрын
We Secular Franciscans can and do marry. The majority of us is laity. Diocesan priests can become seculars and remain priests. In our diocese we had a bishop who I think was both, not a friar.The priests in our order don't marry.
