at 24:30, good thing you put NoAlox on the aluminum breaker wires! Wouldn't want customer to have any aluminum wiring problems in the future !!!

i hate when you buy an OE motor for 300 to 400 bucks and it comes with a cheap titanpro, garbage capacitor, but if you buy an aftermarket it comes with a titanhd. no threads on the tail cover, thats not unusual across the industry, SEMS screws are great for thread cutting into those, they have a notch and a tapered fine thread nose

I'm laughing. When the local electrical company came to work on a bad connection to my neighbors house, the spotted the giant 240 volt receptacle I installed on my rear wall in case I ever wanted power up the house with a generator after a hurricane. They didn't take any chances, and walked over and removed my entire electric meter until they were finished fixing the corroded connection from the transformer. They were nice enough to tighten the connections inside the meter with an impact before putting the meter back in after they finished.

Next time to make fishing the wire easier, just electrical tape the old motor wires to the new wires and pull from the electrical compartment. Makes my life easy

Why do breakers exist inside the Ac units and not on the electrical panel?
@JeffsHVACAdventures5 ай бұрын
They use them as disconnects for heat pump air handlers that have heater packs.

@@JeffsHVACAdventures make sure you use a Noalox paste on your aluminum wire connections, i have yet to see one in my few years that is listed for al-cu conductors, most come with a sticker stating "copper conductor only."

@@JeffsHVACAdventures heater packs also known as heat strips right?

Great job tech tip Wednesday always put the date on the capacitor. The ones we use American made have a two year warranty from our supplier.

Also that is the way it supposed to be the screws are made to tap the threads in the motor .
