I was at an adult gymnastics camp over the weekend and we were given a seminar by a super good coach, travels around the world helping national teams with gymnastics. He said to focus on just the top half of leg lifts because when you walk and run you are getting the majority of the bottom half anyways, also if you are swinging your legs momentum is carrying you through that bottom half. TL;DR try L hold - toes to bar instead of going all the way down. (not sure if any crossfit people do this, you are the only ones besides TLM that I watch :) )

Unless I'm the only one listening to this through headphones the left ear piece just has static noise. Where as the right one works fine. Checked another YT video and it was fine. Might want to check the sound equalizer in the edit.

I've tried that 1min of hangs split every 10s with a hang/movement. 10rds of 1min bike 1 min core hang. that core thing is pretty good. Been doing so much conditioning lately thanks to Tim Richey, I can just go into work mode and outwork people more conditioned than me now.

Yesterday I did a WOD with burpee box jumps, kettle bell swings, single arm dumbbell press, and dB snatch’s 10-1 and by the round of 7 the right side of my lower back back was blowing. This tends to happen from time to time. During workouts like that I can never seem to find a stretch to stretch out the lower back. If anyone has any tips on either stretches when that happens or how to strengthen that part I would love to hear it.

hey, i would recommend that you strengthen your lower back instead of stretching the muscles. you might make things worse by over stretching the muscles, and you can also strengthen your glutes (midius/ minimum) by doing banded walks because it can help in stabilising your lower back overall. i've been struggling from sciatic pain lately and strengthening my intrinsic muscles is helping a lot. wish you all the best :)

I had my second ever comp last weekend after only starting crossfit in February. It was a rookie comp so wasn't worried but it absolutely destroyed me because it was mainly cardio based.
