Everytime i see a video of sarah with modular gear i inch closer to buying a 0-cntrl. No matter what module she showcases its the 0-cntrl that always steals the show for me.

I was already interested in this module, seeing the two of you both geek out over the possibilities of it makes me want it more. Great video, super cute watching two friends just enjoy a piece of cool gear together! More of this type of stuff please!

Some decades ago, Robert Rich coined the term "Glurp" for a particular style of sound, described as follows: "Glurp reflects the organic manifestations of liquid, squelching lifeforms, the experience of animal existence, and creeps into the music as a sort of gurgling, rubbery sensibility, with timbres that melt and droop like Dali’s watches." His interpretation of it is perfectly summarized in a couple of albums he put out called Bestiary & The Biode, but I've rarely heard anybody else try to emulate that style. All that is to say that this is one of the glurpiest modules I've ever heard and is *perfect* for that style of music.

Dude excellent recommendation, thank you! I'm going to dive into his albums. I will say, Tipper can often do this quite well I think. His album Broken Soul Jamboree really makes me think of alien worlds. Same with Amon Tobin's ISAM. Also this is not at all in the same style, but you should check out Bubu and His Friends by Hans Reichel. It's absolutely a story of organic alien life, although it's made with recordings of daxophones. (Daxophones, not saxophones).

@@evanbarnes9984 had never heard of a daxophone, sounds interesting. Do you know why the frets are randomly logarithmically spaced? (According to Wikipedia.) Is it like, a generative music technique so each one is different? Or do they all have the same spacing and it's just, not a 12-tone system.

The plasma rack from gamechanger is what got me into these very specific xenon tubes originaly, this module is mostly "ok" I would say, but the technology used behind it is madness !

Recently I made a video with a 10 dollars Yamaha pss synth through the Gamechanger plasma distorsion pedal, it's awesome how this plasma thing turns every cheap sound into something tremendous 😮
