The 727 has always been my favorite plane, loved this design. I'm not old enough to know but not sure if United Airlines had the Friend Ship first then the Bars and Stars. That's a beautiful 727-200 Aviation18. 👍

@@Aviation18 I know. I don't like the 747-400 that much, because to me it's a little bit to short, so I even more like the 747-8. But I also never had a big link to the 747, because they don't come to Munich anymore (except the freighter variants maybe once or twice a week). The last passenger 747 regularly came to Munich was the Thai Airways to Bangkok (now on the 777-300ER (before Corona)) til summer of 2018, I think, and it also was the only one for a few years. The first and last 747-8I came to Munich was D-ABYA "Brandenburg" on the 7th of February in 2018 to show the new Lufthansa livery in which it was painted as the first Lufthansa aircraft. Maybe that's the reason. You've heard that Lufthansa is now the biggest 747-operator, since British Airways retired them, which is very sad, haven't you? But that's how life goes on and I don't want to think about how the world looks like in 25 years, when there're no more A380s and 747s, because they're so iconic aircrafts (almost culture). They will always be in our hearts.

My main problem with Gemini jets is the landing gear. For half of my Gemini jets I have to glue the landing gear because it is weak. It is hard when you glue the landing gear for the 737 and a320s. I only had 2 Gemini Jets that had the wings detached. For NG I never had a problem with Landing gear.

Yeh I agree, Gemini does need to improve but I think they are improving but still a long way from perfect

Actually, there are some aircraft which tails look similar to the 727s one, for example soviet Tu-154/154M.

Bro my Dad flys the Fokker 100 but nothing can beat the 727 it’s bean my favourite aircraft for many many years it’s a very pretty aircraft I am in love with the 727 I am 11 years old and I am getting a Gemini200 TWA 727-200 and maybe a TAA DC-9 bc I am Australian (TAA is a Australian airline) but yeah the 727 is my favourite!!

I agree tail is fine Lufthansa fuselage title is very light where as on the actual aircraft it is a similar colour to the tail Gemini need to fix this On future models

Well for a large collection, I would say 1:400 but if you want a few really nice, larger and more detailed models, 1:200

Correct.. Lufthsnsa A350 titels and A340-600 tail are too light. As a fleet Lufthansa new colours look more than OK.👍

Amazing job Joe!! The Gemini A350 mould is super nice! I am really glad that they added the Lufthansa logo on the winglets!! Aviation400 has the best mould in my opinion!! There is one British Airways A35K by AV400 on EBay currently for $66! Gotta love Stars and Bars!! I sure hope they keep the one on the A320 and add it on a 77W or something! I sure hope Gemini continues to make some 727s in 1:400! Amazing job!!
