When ever you get issues with disc pads Becky, take the wheel off then prise the pads apart, then get some card board or something bendable, bend it over the rota, line up your wheel before you push it back in to the callipers bend some card board only thin stuff, and then slide the rotar back into the caliper allowing the card board to sit between the pads, press the lever a few times and then remove the card board, that usually centre's them, if that fails, undo the bolts allowing the calipers to move, press your levers in for at least 3 to 4 times , hold the lever in, and tighten the bolts, hopefully that should work... Great info and great vid 👍😁

Great tips! I have been doing the one with loosing bolts and re-center. I also get caliper inserts whenever I travel and I need to take out the wheels.

I really enjoy your vids now that I can no longer get out myself. Take care Becky

Hey there, Becky! I couldn't agree with you more. It's so uplifting to see content creators like this who keep it real and relatable, instead of staging everything for the sake of views. By the way, have you heard about the ongoing project featuring the freebeat Morph eBike? It's a game-changer! One outstanding feature is its ability to be charged indoors, making it super convenient. Plus, the brushless 750W motor and puncture-resistant fat tires ensure a smooth ride in any terrain. It's definitely worth checking out if you're interested in enhancing your cycling experience. Keep up the great work, Becky!

It's amazing how it combines indoor fitness and outdoor exploration seamlessly. The most outstanding feature is that it can be charged indoors! With its powerful motor and puncture-resistant fat tires, conquering terrains becomes a breeze. Plus, the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature keeps me motivated during both indoor and outdoor rides. It's a game-changer in the e-bike industry! Keep up the great work, Becky!

From a long time wilderness and road tourer. Just a few tips that may make touring a wee bit easier. Dress like a nomad and think like a nomad. Get rid of the bibs and cleated shoes and put spiked flat peddles on the cranks and take the weight off your body and go back to panniers. It would get rid of a lot of your hill walking fatigue. A better way to avoid flats is to mount tires with a thick layer of rubber designed for long distance touring. Good to see a young person out on the road and trails.

Hi, not sure if anyone has said. When you take your wheels out for transportation, put a spacer between the pistons that will stop them closing down, when you put your wheels back in flick your brake levers with the bike on it's wheels. Old bike mechanic.

when that happens push the pads/pistons back in, an eating knife between the pads can be used in emergencies, then pull the levers a few times to reset the pad to rotor distance. the brake calipers should of come with small red inserts (assuming shimano, i cant tell from the video) to put between the pads for when transporting the bike with the wheels out to stop this from happening.

A bit late I know but for future reference, when you take your wheels off put something in between the brakes like a spacer, because if your brake levers get moved the hydraulic pads move in but they won’t return, I think that’s what happened

Hey Becky, I might have a good hint for you. It looks like your hips are moving a lot during cycling. That can be a result of your saddle being too high. This can cause a lot of pain. For example in the ankles, where you suffer during the end of the video. It's the first video I've seen of you and it's a few month ago. I hope you fixed it meanwhile, but if not, I hope this hint finds you well. Amazing video, though. I love to watch people, who do something they love. Suddenly you see a different kind of beauty in them. This entire video you look so beautiful, as it seems like your entire heart is filled with happiness and joy.

No doubt you will be experiencing plenty of astonishing revelations ! Your excitement over the tent strap to hang something, in this case your helmet, clearly means you will be astonished around every corner. There's likely a handle on the end of your toothbrush as well, which should bring you to a new thrill level !Just teasing ! I was once a country bumpkin- pumpkin too..& one of my earliest train jaunts was upon the London - Inverness rail...my pink nose glued to the window all the way north, astonished by everything! Inverness was a marvel of beautiful old structures and my Californica coastel naivety was elert to the max. My 1st destination from Inverness was Glenelg, to catch a 2 car ferry over a short distance to land upon Skye ..glorious🌄

an awesome tip i recently read about is if you want to carry air filled foods with you, like a packet of chips or BBQ Shapes, you poke a pin hole in the bag, squeeze out all the air and then put a piece of tape over the hole an walla, the pack is half to a third its size :)

Hi. I’ve ridden the HT550 twice and got swollen ankles both times. I think it’s from hiking in cycling shoes that have no ankle support. I toured the HT550 using trail shoes and flat pedals a couple of years ago and was fine, although not pushing myself as much.
