Nice! Unfortunately the compressor went out on mine and I decided to go with ICECO. Glad yours is working out well though! 🤙

I have a BougeRV frig I just love , after years of using coolers. No comparison ! A 12V frig is the only way to go. Hopefully yours will last for years,and it probably will. Happy and safe travels.👍

I purchased the same one in March. Took it to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Point Reyes with no problems. I previously owned an ICECO, and replaced it because the EUHOMY is so much lighter. It’s quieter too.

Mine bit the dust unfortunately. Probably just a faulty unit out of the batch. Looking for a new fridge now though

I used the same fridge in my bus for almost 3 years. It's now my beer fridge. I ended up putting in an inverter and put the original beer fridge in the bus (dorm fridge style). The Euhomy is awesome.

Great timing, I'm looking for a cooler/fridge. Good run-down on what you get for different price points. I've been traveling in various ways for a while now and always have Adam's Old Fashioned Peanut Butter with me in the largest Costco tub size. I've never refrigerated it, and my containers don't have a refrigeration label that I can find. My point, you might be able to replace that space with something else if there's something else you want to bring along. Looking forward to your next video.

Awesome! Yeah, I just keep it in the fridge so the oil doesn’t separate and require as much stirring. For now I have room to spare in there but I would definitely take that out if needed. 🤙 thanks for the comment!

I see many people that say they overland on a budget but not at my level. I am a budget and I highly recommend ICECO I use the APL55 but wish i had a bit smaller one. There was 4 items i didn't skimp on. 1. Rig (GX470) but i got a hella good deal (under 10k). 2. RTT even better deal under 1k in it Ikamper skycamp 2.0, about to trade for a 23zero armadillo A2 because mine is too big. 3. Tires I run Falken or Toyo only ( I worked at a jeep shop for years and sold tires and saw them abused. I wont run anything else. 4. Fridge & Power. I use Bluetti power bank with Solar and off-grid no solar it runs my fridge and lights for a week.

Nice man. Sounds like you have a sweet rig. This fridge failed for me and I switched to Iceco. Talked about it in another video. I’ve been really happy with the Iceco so far. Cheers

I am trying to figure out options for powering this fridge overnight when the car is not running?
@HeyJonMoore3 ай бұрын
Hey there! I would recommend a portable lithium battery. If you’re just running the fridge you could check out Goal Zero, Jackery, or Eco Flow just to name a few. I did a video on my electrical system here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5_KeHyDlrp0i9k Now, last thing, it would be negligent of me not to mention that my Euhomy failed after only 3 months. I talk about it in other videos. It could have just been a bad one (especially since so many people rave about this thing) but, as I said, quality control is the risk you take going the budget route. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment and question.

Hi Jon, Just watched both videos on Frig and Power station. I like the frig. It is a nice size.. Could you recommend a power station for a 2 day camping trip for just the frig olone with out charging?
@HeyJonMoore3 ай бұрын
Hey Kay, of course the fridge power consumption is going to vary depending on conditions but I imagine that something like the Jackery 500 (or goal zero equivalent) would be more than adequate for two days. However, full transparency, my Euhomy fridge failed after about 3 months. I talked about it in the ‘rig regrets’ video. I could’ve just gotten a bad one but I’ve switched over to an ICECO. A new video will come out at the end of this week. All that said, if you do decide to pick up a power system or fridge please follow one of the links in the description (even if it’s not the one you end up going with, by following the link I get a commission and that really helps me out so thank you in advance!) Good luck and feel free to follow up with any other questions :)

How is it for noise? Does it stay in your rig when you sleep?
@HeyJonMoore5 ай бұрын
Good question. It does stay in the rig full time - the sound doesn’t bother me whatsoever. Seems like it only kicks on once or twice a night. (Maybe more haha but it doesn’t wake me up so I couldn’t say)

My buddy has the same unit. I have a dometic 65 (dual zone). It’s almost too much fridge but, if I were to recommend anyone, these units are the bees knees and I’d buy one if I didn’t get a smoking deal on my Dometic
@abdullahmahmood30405 ай бұрын
Ohh another note. They’ve got a voltage draw meter on it which I absolutely love. My dometic will shut itself off at low voltage safety but would be nice to know what my battery sits at on the fly
