Good evening sir, Today’s motivational quote is “Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.” Editorial is related to India’s neutral stand on the current crisis between Russia and Ukraine. In my opinion:- The war between Russia and Ukraine has been continued since February this year and it seems that they are still very far from finding any solutions. The United States and its ally countries have already imposed severe moratorium on Russia but such steps could not stop Russia even it has spurred Russia for damaging more and more prime assets of Ukraine. India which was asked to give its support either for Russia or Ukraine in the United Nations last month, it had itself abstained from voting. Such steps of India were condemned by most of the countries and now they are again pressurizing it for giving support either for Russia or Ukraine. The United States has sought to remove G-20 membership of Russia as they have condemned Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin’s action for adopting cruel moves on Ukrainian people. It has already got support from many countries but it seems that it seeks India’s stand. Even, an allegation related to violating international norms has been made by the United States and its ally countries and they also want support of India so that they can implement more severe sanctions against Russia. In response to this, India has said that if Russia has violated international norms, an inquiry involving expert members must be conducted and strict action should be taken against Russia. Given the current situation of war, India cannot take any moves with the pressure of other countries. It has also proper right to take decision itself. There can be no denying that war is not solution to the problem if both countries want to conclude the war, they must enhance negotiation and also request other developed countries to help them for ending the current crisis else the world will experience third world war in upcoming days.
