Just got it for 129euros in the BF Amazon sale. I was thinking about g923 or g920, even t248. But after seeing this difference in money, for me, a guy who hasn't drive a game care in the past decade, I think it is more then enough for me. Nice review. thank you.

Good and thorough review. I'm in the DD camp myself but cool that those dipping their toe/having little money is able to get something decent for relatively little £$.

I'm still rocking the T150 and at this point all the rubber came off. I just put those rubber circular things that you put on the furniture so it won't slip. It gave me good grip. I advise people to do the same on the T128. Problem solved.

About the all plastic wheel, I guess you could get creative with some hockey stick tape. Or maybe even leather handlebar/steering wheel tape. As a bonus the latter could give the wheel a bad ass classic car style. 😎

I think they should have ditched the pedals, so the T128 could sell for even cheaper than it is. Yes, you would have to buy the pedals separately, but it's not like if the T3PM weren't so affordable to begin with.

Actually FF wheels are astonishingly expensive these days. Back in the day you could get FF wheels and pedals like Microsoft Sidewinder FF wheel for surprisingly cheap 129 bucks. Something like Logitech Momo force was considered somewhat a high end but even that was about 200 bucks. That was 20 years ago or so. Something happened at some point and prices of FF wheels skyrocketed and what is left at 100-130 bracket are usually pure rubbish toy wheels.

I'll pick one up soon if I can't find a used g20 under $200. My wheel broke recently. As for grip get some basebat bat/ racket grip and wrap it!

This is the perfect steering wheel for kids who want to start racing and get a feeling for it. It's not too strong and it's cheap. Great Video ❤

I had a g923 and now I have the T128. The first is way better and I totally regret the swap. Better grip, response and pedals. If you are beginning, get a g923 cause worth the price delta.

Got my g29 for 220 euros. Comes with 3 pedals, some dampening for the brake and with a leather rim as well as a good amount of buttons. The FFB is a bit stronger but also louder. For me thats the ultimate beginner set. The T128 should have had some rubber around the rim and a stronger brake if they dont put a clutch to the pedals. As of now I wouldn't recommend it but maybe if the price is reduced to 75% of the original price tag.

How does the FFB compare to the TMX/T150. I've had a TMX for over 2 years now and the FFB is ok but can feel pretty vague at times, especially when the back end steps out, I almost always don't feel anything through the wheel. I'm interested to know if the "new" hybrid drive system is better than the one in the wheelbases mentioned above.

I got a T128 to replace a TMX that partially broke. With the same settings plugged in that I ran on the TMX on iRacing, it feels a little more jarring because it's a smaller, all-plastic wheel. It's good for the budget price range. My biggest complaint about going over to the T128 from the TMX is the pedals. The TMX pedals work poorly with the T128 and the pedals it comes with have a limited range of motion by comparison.

We don't know the exact model unfortunately but it is a BenQ curved monitor. It gets used for broll and video editing with a little bit of sim racing and we like it alot.

Ah entry level, the wheel you buy before you upgrade to a Logitech G920, which you then upgrade to a Thrustmaster T300, which you then upgrade to a 10nm direct drive, which you then upgrade to a Simucube ultimate. Factor in the rigs and the pedals etc, you should have just stuck with the console control pad.

Just ordered my G293 for 280€ I was considering spending 100€ less as the T128 is available for 180€ in my country but I thought the benefits of the G293 justified the jump I did also considered waiting and spending an additional 100€ on the 380€ T300RS GT but the gap was too steep for the advantages by the way i also considered the T248 also at 280€ , but for the same exact price my preferece is for the G293 due to several things , like the progressive spring break pedal , superior looks and leather vs plastic , the carpet mount on the pedals as well as the much cheaper shifter ... trueforce in the few games its supported was the icing on the cake but not really a factor for me I dont know why i went on this tangent in a video about the T128

@@TraxionGG UPDATE : Just got it today ! And I have to say... it has been a lot different than what I expected Having never driven a car not got a drivers license , this is a whole different experience to me , , it feels like im learning a new language from scratch ... my lap times are dozens of seconds behind my controller times in any game i play , and even with identical assists on, i am constantly losing the car to spins ... but i still want to learn Now onto the negatives ...firstly the break is a bit too stiff for me , hopefully i will get used to it , but thats a logitech-specific thing ... secondly, my right leg gets tired easilly, though thats probably due to me using a desk chair and the bad posture that creates ... thirdly and finally... i can feel the motor gears rattling from the force feedback, thats when the wheel makes its infamous noise , but what stood out to me wasnt the noise per see , but that weird feeling of rattling Other than that , it has been TONS of fun so far , and even though im still slower than my controller times , it still doesnt feel right when I go back to it (By the way , since the feeling of the wheel was so different than what I imagined , now Im just wondering what a real road car or a proper direct drive wheel would feel in comparison to my G923 and how those will differ from how I imagine them to be as well)

Honestly either will work fine but I would recommend the T128. It's supported across more games and will have longer support going forwards.

If this is anything like the T248, don't bother. It will be fine for three months and then implode. Before I got my T300 I had a T248, a friend of mine too. Both failed catastrophically within months. Motor failure.

Do you run it for drifting? If you do turn down the FFB. I melt a T150 cuz of that but it was in the warranty. The next they gave me is still going strong. If you don't drift that's really strange.

@@hhistertheosis Yeah, I used it for a bit of everything, drifting included, but it wasn't good for that at all. The T300 with the dual belts is so much better at... Well, literally everything. It's also got a much meatier wheel going for it. I highly recommend people to skip the T248 and just go straight to the T300 because it's just a waste of money.

@@hhistertheosis For starters the rim, even if I don't use the removable part of it, is nice. The option's there. The GT rim might have rubber around the edges, but it's really comfy rubber around _steel._ It's nice and weighty. You can throw it around in stuff like Dirt Rally 2.0 and al that. You lose the magnetic switches for the paddles, but it's honestly not a huge loss. Lesser click, but also doesn't make your fucking ears bleed. The pedals do suck absolute ass though. 1080 degrees of rotation are nice for precision, strong and very detailed ffb compared to the T248 and the whole build of it is just nicer in general. I've had a second hand T300 and it has already outlived my T248 and does everything it could and would've better. Now it just needs to survive another 23 years to outlive my Microsoft Sidewinder ffb wheel.
