This is what I’m talking about. I never knew about this place and now it’s on my list . Tiny gems that can be found all around Newfoundland that will be weaved into my memories one day. Ideas don’t have to be grand to be noticed and cherished. Thank you once again for another wonderful video

Thanks Monique. My goal for you is to give you so many ideas for your itinerary that you’ll have to stay for at least a month next time haha

Looks like a great spot to visit. Will definitely be adding it to the list for my next trip to the island.

The whole Burin peninsula is great, and this place is one of many must-visit spots

I saw the title and thought this was about me, glad I clicked it and watched none the less, lol ;) :P Fantastic video, yet again my friend! I love the Burin Peninsula, what a great place. That said, I haven't yet made it Smuggler's Cove, so now I have to add it to my list next time I venture that way. I love taking a couple of days to venture the Burin Peninsula and end it off with a ferry ride to France ;)

It really is a special place

It sure is. Even on a surface level it’s great but when people know a bit about the story behind it, it really is special.

You’re already building your suspension bridge, Mark. But it’s bigger than young Mark coulda ever imagined. These videos are that bridge. Thank you.

A very popular spot with the residents of the Burin area. Their food is delicious, their cold plates are the best anywhere, and the management and staff are super people. They also have little cabins on the far side of the cove, and boat tours in the summer. Wish I had known you were there that day, would have popped over to say Hi, I live just 3 minutes away, in fact you drove past my house to get there. LOL

Another friend from the comments here emailed me directly to say pretty much the same thing ☺️ Next time I do something like this I’ll try to let people know in advance. How fun would it be to actually meet in person some of the people (like you Judy) who I’ve been chatting with here in the comments for the past year or so!

Great video Mark. Smugglers Cove is a beautiful place and my favourite restaurant in Newfoundland. It’s a great message you delivered about a person you admired. Pat.

Thanks for watching Pat. An amazing place, and an amazing person behind the place. And the people who keep it going deserve a shout out too because they continue to do a great job too.

I have only ever heard of this place through your videos.........Oh Jiffy Cabs.....heard of that also........I remember the bug on the hill...........a great display of something unique here on the Rock Mark........thanks.

Thanks as always buddy. Pretty sure that’s the bug that caused a bunch of controversy on the side of the highway a few years ago. Not positive but pretty sure that was a Jiffy Cabs advertisement

Are you using a RED camera to shoot this?
@mark_royle_newfoundland2 ай бұрын
My main camera is a Panasonic Lumix G9ii and there are also a bunch of DJI Osmo Pocket 3 shots in there too. Maybe one day I’ll have a RED! Thanks for the high compliment all the same!
