Very interesting video. Thanks. I have a large spacious 3 car garage, 50 feet long and 26 feet wide, with a 14 foot ceiling and need to replace my forced air furnace that has problems and is undersized. I live in Saskatchewan Canada. Did your research ever indicate if a tube radiant heater system is better than a forced air furnace? I had the radiant at my old home and it was really nice. It's hard to find anyone who knows much as builders just go for the cheapest install. I no longer do woodworking, so that's not a factor. Thanks!

Thanks Richard. I never compared forced air v radiant heat in terms of which is better. I decided on the radiant tube because my friend (a part time fire fighter and electrician) recommended I stay away from electric heaters due to the higher risk of fires. In terms of forced air, I wasn't keen on installing a duct system. The one run of the radiant tube works very well in my shop and I'm very pleased with it. It heats the area efficiently and, as you said, it is 'nice'.

Hello Peter. You made it look easy using the lifter. Are screws recommended to hold the OSB in place or are nails good enough? I guess the next video will include the gas line and exhaust pipe installation. It looks really good. Have good days!
