I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the nickel coin collection is completed! The best thing about the nickel hunts is how you can eventually complete the series. Lincoln cents are fun, but there are a handful of set killers, as you know. As for Rosie's, it's nearly impossible to get *any* silver dime these days, let alone a complete set!

Just did a one box nickel hunt and found 3 1939s non were S or D and two semi key dates 1949 S and 1948 s Great hunt !

Now that I live in a tiny town in Idaho, it's a bit weird getting my coin order. Once a week I'm getting 2 boxes each of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, and every three weeks I get my half dollars (3 boxes), and 2 penny boxes and 2 nickel boxes.

@@jaymartell2967 I sure do. One of the pluses of being full time WFH only 4 days a week is I can hunt a ton of coins. By the way I have been doing this for ages and have developed a process that takes me just about an hour tops to look through a coin box. Half dollars take me just 15-20 minutes per box.

Went through a box of nickels that I picked up yesterday. 2 buffalos, but both ND. 1 silver, 1944-P, so now I'm only missing 1945-D for my set. And, a 1953-S which I already had, but I'll keep it since it's a better date with a sub-20 mil mintage.

Rob I heard you say in your area Canadian coins are hard to find. I am getting rid of my Canadian coin collection. There are some proofs, reds, large cents, nickels going back to 1920 & up and small cents 1920 & up. It’s a large number of coins and will probably help with your collection. First of all , I could wring your neck! 🤣 you guilted me in to finally starting my nickel book! That 3 gallon pail I had to go through resulted into an utterly mess! 1940-2019. All separated by decade until 2000-2019 I did those by year. I was going to see if you had a video looking for 2009? And I found this great video. And out of all those nickels, only 1 -2009! Do you keep the nickels from 2004&2005? The ones without the Monticello? Back to wrapping 🙄 Thanks for the video. 🙏🌎☮️♥️

I haven't commented in a bit, but I enjoy all the hunts, pennies and nickels most, then half dollars, and quarters. Dimes, I think are a lost cause. No silver, and they're so small. To hard on the eyes.

I'm fairly new at coin collecting, I live in VA in finding D mint mark Nickels to fill my book is crazy hard common dates like 2008 or 2010 are really hard to find, did you have issues like this?

I have a huge bag of nickels from the 30s, 40s and 50s from my father. wasn't sure what to do with them. they are all circulated so I'm guessing nothing will be worth very much

hey rob asked this question on your last video of nickels but no answer so ill ask again. im starting a new youtube channel coin roll hunting called pocket change warrior. been a fan for a while . so my question for you is whats the point of saving 40's and 50's nickels if there not silver ddr ddo or rpm i see you pulling them out so im following you but what do you do with them. just wanna say i save all s mint nickels just think there cool but what else should i save thats not a ddo ddr or rpm or silver

I don’t save all the 40’s and 50’s nickels. After the hunt I only keep ones that are in high AU or better condition UNLESS it is a key date or semi key date. All other ones go back into circulation. Good luck with your hunts. PS: I am easier to get a hold of via email.
