My Anxiety Retreat on a Greek Island as a Work-from-home Dad

I never considered our summer house on a Greek island an anxiety retreat.
Until this year, I had never suffered from stress or anxiety.
But judging by how popular the retreats for anxiety and mental health are, I must be one of the lucky ones who had an easy life and never experienced stress as an adult.
Now, at 45, my time has come to have a first-hand experience of severe anxiety, as my online business is struggling, and my income is taking a serious hit.
To fight anxiety, instead of visiting my favorite anxiety retreat, I have to do something else.

@@JimMakosCom no - not at all annoying! I speak four languages (English, French, Italian and Spanish) and I always enjoy listening to other languages. And as a native English speaker I liked watching you helping your daughter with English. In my opinion definitely keep the Greek in there! It’s your language after all - so that’s also a more authentic view of you if we see you speaking your own language. 👍

Here's the thing with me. I do have a luggage scale. A brand new one. I did weigh the luggage about ten times before going to the airport. But my mind worries the scale may be off or I didn't do ut right. Told you, I'm peculiar!

@@JimMakosCom me too. I get stressed out of my mind at airport checkins whether my luggage is right on weight or not. I’m always stressed because of the possible fines. I think the old days were better when they did not try catch you out with this.
