The Wembley version leaves you in no doubt Floor's doing the growling. It's the most animalistic performance I've seen from her (so far).

It takes a very careful listener to get Floor´s growling from the "Cruise version" (that concert was on a cruise ship!) of this song. Well done :-)!

if unsure, we recognize Marco singing, so shes only one remaining :) And just because of more easily recognizeable growl by Floor (sometimes camera takes her in the right time and view) some mates like to suggest Wembley version rather than this one... whereas the atmosphere on the cruise ship appears better to me...

Oh thank god you noticed it was Floor! Most people don't notice on this version, so when I saw you were reacting to this one instead of the Wembley one I got nervous lol. The Wembly performance the mix is a little different and the camera work is a bit better since it's not on a cruise ship like this one. Shoulda known that a musician will catch it regardless hahaha Though I'll say maybe in your own time to check out the other live performance of this song. I'm glad it made your top 10 :)

Mr. K, how do you go about choosing videos? You chose an indoor cruise ship video when you could of had the power and majesty of an outdoor show, like Wembley. Do you just pick the first one that pops up? Or do you give it some thought? You missed the timed pyro and tens of thousands of fans. I don't understand this choice. But I'm glad you enjoyed it.

@@huubdonkersteeg2408 Liked it. Studio version as well. But there is something unique in a way Tuomas writes in Nightwish. Sure he borrows from film music. But he can write melodies that are very simple but very effective.

No denying in that Tuomas is a great song writer and composer. He is at least one of the world best. I love his music, not only in Nightwish. But this was just an example of what Floor herself can do. This is / was her own sound. Most songs she either wrote herself, or co-writed them together with Joost Van Den Broek. With whom she is working together at the moment to write some new material, as she has recently taken up her songwriting again.
