@@PeachPhillips I started my first day yesterday! I really like it! Despite hair constantly being every lmao. My manager is great (she talks a lot tho lol) and my coworkers seem nice! My first client (and only one for that day) was a very neutral person, she didn't have a lot of personality and when I asked her how her hair was when I finished she said "it's fine" but she tipped me 5$ so I was happy!

Hi Queen! Been doing hair for 8 years but took a break for 3 year, got back into it for 5 months last year, to now looking into sports clips as a part time. I worked at Hair Cuttery and it was great! Do you think Men's cuts are wayyy easier? From my experience it is but i need to work on my fades 😅

Is the pay worth it at sport clips? My wife is having trouble picking between great clips and sport clips to work at she just graduated

What does she want to specialize in?. I wanted to specialize in mens cut so the choice was easy for me. It's a steady paycheck for starters.🙂

How long is the training when you first get hired on?

I worked at a salon before so I have haircutting experience. I kinda shadowed for half a day & observed how they do business then worked on the floor after I took my lunch. I got scheduled for the training weeks after. I believe it depends if the store is run by corporate or franchise owner, I worked for a franchise store at that time & it got acquired by corporate just before the pandemic hit.

It's a steady paycheck for beginners to get experience. I now work at a barbershop renting a chair & earning more.

You'll have to check with the location you have in mind. In my experience, corporate locations tend to pay a little bit more.

This company is slowly dying, sports clips losing $1.5 Million a year. An this is basically a line up style business, people come in cut your hair & you leave.
