So frustrating when drivers pass on an interstate hwy and cut back right in front and go slower than what I already doing in my semi. It's soo dangerous as well. Drivers Ed needs to have a session on driving around large vehicles and they need to have a truck on site so new drivers can learn how big they are and how limited some of our views around us are and how difficult to stop quickly in them.

When they pass you and THEN SLOW DOWN...........ugh. I had a guy follow super close for about an hour through the mountains the other day. He had tons of oppurtunities to pass but didn't. I eventually got annoyed because I am uncomfortable with people behind me and slowed down gradually to -5 for awhile, then -10, and even 15 under the guy just hung back there and eventually I put on my hazards and faked having to pull over and finally he went around. F sake...

I kept my prepass even after they said not to use it anymore but I did it was paid for out of my pocket. What ever one said ok to pass scales I went with it. Maybe it was cheating but no one wants to go on there and possibly be harassed. I ran out of KC terminal retired now living in the Philippines.

Companies with good safety records are in the Dryvwiize database and, when one of their trucks approaches the weigh station, the scale master can set the computer to give the truck the "BYPASS" indication you see on the (Platform Science) tablet in the truck. If you are hauling placarded HAZMAT, you MUST pull into the scale, even if you get a "BYPASS" signal... Thanks, Kevin and Tanya, for sharing this!!! Safe travels!
