This part of our road trip is filmed entirely in the fabled Moreme Game Reserve, part of the Okavango Delta, and begins watching elephants, is interrupted by us helping out some bogged travellers, and concludes with a mekoro (dug-out canoe) trail on the delta.

Your wife should ALWAYS accompany you on your trips. You seem much more relaxed and less agitated, dare I say even playful with the camera.

I had to chuckle a bit at your accent at the age of 12. You and I are the same vintage and at that age I sounded very similar. We had just moved to Australia permanently and my accent made me stand out like the proverbial 'dunny in the desert'. For a long time I had a reel-to-reel tape of it but it was eventually lost. Our accents have both changed a bit since then :)

Andrew, you shouldn't hang your head torch on the seat head-rest. It will prematurely stretch the elastic. Just tuck it somewhere closeby. (Observation for longevity)

We've been living and traveling in Botswana for the last 18 months or so, and I have been told explicitly by several Botswana Dept. of Wildlife and National Parks personnel in the game reserves NOT to get out of our vehicle. Sometimes while I have been, uh, out of the vehicle... :) Has there been a change in policy, or I have just encountered very nervous game rangers?
