This video made me think of Anne Frank and how she made the best of a bad situation despite being forced to hide in her home, in Amsterdam no less. I too was extremely ill while you where. I had just returned from Mexico so went to hospital for testing. I came back positive for the flu so they did not test further. ( saving the Coronavirus tests). I was quite shocked when I started reading about the loss off taste and smell. Because that was some thing I was experiencing. Absolutely zero sense of smell and taste. I am just now able to slightly taste things and the sense off smell is still gone. Can’t tell you how many things I’ve burnt while cooking because I can’t smell it 😂 I first got sick March 8th. And am about 85 percent. I will be having an antibody test when things get back to normal. I just curious if I actually had both. Glad you are feeling better.

I had thought about it back when I was nursing on the wards and HATED it and wanted to go back to school to start over, haha. Then I found the OR and loved it and never looked back. It's a hobby though - I love thinking up all the possibilities for a room :)

What is paramount is for you to regain your health and keep your husband healthy too. A vlog post explaining your angst about heath care there vs Canada would be fascinating. Loved your honestly about wishing you could have gone home. Tastebuds, the taste of “salty” is the last taste bud old people loose, not saying you’re old, I’m talking about senses. Test your mouth with “spicy” and with vinegary like dill pickles. Look for what ever it’s worth, there are KZbin followers, YOUR followers who support you and your husband on your voyage. BTW, thanks for your contribution to Herd Immunity :-)

I’m in southern New Jersey and in North Jersey/nyc it’s really bad, so down in SJ we are waiting for the tsunami to hit. Very eerie. My Vancouverite next door neighbors were forced to quarantine bc he works for the national hockey league and was potentially exposed at the stadium. Now, it’s just everywhereeeee. you should follow nurselifern on insta.. lots of interesting things posted on there... 🥴😬 Your stash had me cracking up 🤣 🍬

so happy you are better. With the sense of no smell kind of sounds like covid,but now you are better that is all that counts I was wondering what happened to you. I kept looking for your post. I really like the little nook you carved out for you & Ken . I live in a smal town of 10,000 we have 4 confirmed cases . The neighboring town has 53 they are now locked in . Can only go to life sustaing jobs,Doctor, Pharmacy & grocery store. The police now can stop any one & ask where they are going.Reminds me of stories of World War 2 ,but of course this is something different. So many lost their jobs 3 miles from me a place that has over 500 emplyess closed ,My neighvor works there his wife she worded at the college & that closed thay have 3 children & now no income .She is devasted her nerves are shot. So many people to be married & paid down on their venue now all closed . This to shal pass,but the question is when I hope it is not to July or August like our President said could be. Hope your Mom & Kens parents are doing well as well as other family members.take care have a lovely weekend ( Judy )

If you had sniffing nose, in most cases it might be not coronavirus. You could lose smell and taste sense due to flu too.
