This is one of the saddest days of my gaming career. Bad Company 2 is a masterpiece & I will miss playing the multiplayer so much. Hoping someone can bring a custom server back someday for console. Ps3 is the only chance since the community has brought back other legacy servers.

Truly sad to see this one go. It'd be great to see if revived like you said, as I know some people had done that for Warhawk and Killzone 2. Will remain hopeful, but time will tell I guess. Appreciate the watch and comment!

This game was my go to multiplayer from 2010 until the servers were shut down. Every map felt well thought out and every match gave rise to very many memorable moments.

looking at the game again the FOV is horrible, but u didnt care about that back in the day... BC2 and BF1 gonna be always my favorite Battlefield games

True. Lots of these older games have FOV somewhere between 70-80. I think the original Halo 3 was the most jarring, everything felt so zoomed in! Once you get used to it though, the game is such a blast.

I played a lot of this game back in the 360 days and later on PC and still one of the greatest. Still also playing BF3 almost everyday on PC. OLD BF>>>>>>>>>>>>NEW BF

Awesome! Ya, BF3 is such a gem. I really hope EA isn't planning on closing that game's servers any time soon.

We've been begging for Bad Company 3 for what feels like eons now. I think DICE is just allergic to what everyone wants. The core (classic) Battlefield experience is fine, and is actually what I tend to prefer on average, but Bad Company 2 undeniably brought something special to the table that no other Battlefield has recaptured ever since. The slower pace with an extreme emphasis on objectives and small teams/squads, plus the crazy destruction... it was one of the most intense and memorable multiplayer shooters ever made as far as I'm concerned.

This game should be revamped for the PS5. Our clan, The Playstation UK1s, on the PS3 started to break up once the PS4 was released. Nothing has brought us back together again and sadly I've lost contact with some good friends. This is truly a very sad time!

i think not but ive been playing this game since release so probably we met somewhere in the past maybe @@IndustrialGamer . ive been playing mostly on xbox 360 and ps3 versions but PC also
