Back in the 80s in a competition I flew a hang glider from the Cairnwell across to the bowl on the south side of Glas Maol. I had to hang around for 15 minutes, maintaining height, waiting for another decent thermal. There were several hundred red deer grazing on the slopes below. They'd no idea I was there.

Not the type of dog I would expect to see up a Mountain, but she obviously enjoyed it😃. My Mutt really enjoys the high life, standing on the edge of a cliff with a gale blowing in his face is his idea of heaven.

Random question...what dog lead is that you are using? Looks like a good setup, but I can't seem to find a suitable lead...the retractable leads all tend to be a bit bulky at one end. Cheers :-)

It's so nice to see you out with your son. I managed that once with my boy, back in 2018. He's not showing any interest in doing it again, which is a shame. I'll keep badgering him. Tell me, how do you make those wonderful map animations?
@ScotlandsMountains3 жыл бұрын
Hi Cams - my only piece of advice is that I have not enforced the hiking law on the kids (yet ! Lol) . I’ve met a few adults who have told me they were put off hill walking for life as they were made to go with their parents in their youth , so I was super happy when my son started to ask to come out with me ( it may not last too long but going to try and enjoy it as much as I can now in the present :):) 👍👍 The map annotations were my project during lock down . They are all done from scratch on the adobe editing software and it must have taken me a few weeks of study YT tutorials to get there. Each one still easily takes me over an hour to make !! A complete pain on the backside to do so hoping I get the hang of it soon and can reduce the amount of time it takes me to make these lol Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
