It’s amazing the AMOUNT of flags in one country over time. Obviously, it tells a lot about the history - the sensibility of the time, etc. But you don’t just readily think about the depth of historical perspective they bring. Like how ocean liners are a microcosm of the time period in which they were built - even after multiple remodels. Also. I wonder if the Panem flag was inspired by the proposed China flag. Hunger Games has many references throughout history. The Roman Empire and French Monarchy are just the most prominent.

"and the red pearl standing for a three legged crow" ??????????????????????????????????????????????????? Crow????????????????????????????????? Why the fuck did you not explain that any further? Honestly. I am really curious to see you explain why you chose to not explain this any further.

Looking back that’s a good point, I’m still comfused about it but just look it up, aparently it’s a popular symbol in Chinese culture but I never herd of it in my 14 years in Hong Kong.
