Thanks for checking out more Dreamcatcher content and Mera's video. I wish she'd do an updated version since she does such a good job and Dreamcatcher has exploded in popularity since then, but she's stated that she doesn't really enjoy doing "industry" videos. She does have another Dreamcatcher video about the cinematography used in their MVs that really good though. There's so much variety in their discography, I hope you guys get to do some deep dives into their albums and even their covers.

Dreamcatcher has 4 wins in total, they won 2 rewards at Maison and 2 at bon voyage. They were supposed to have their first win at Deja vu but everglow won, and after days they said that there was a miscalculation and Dreamcatcher originally won not everglow

As far as I know, they did not state the Dreamcatcher won over Everglow. What was stated is that the video views display on their site were incorrect and the correct data was used in the calculations on the show. It still doesn't explain assigning anyone anyone a zero for "expert" preferences, especially when only 12 points were needed to win so definitely seems deliberately done, especially since and Everflow member became a co-host about 4 months later.

I'm not surprised by the mixnine disaster. YG can't handle more than one girl group at once, and no more than three big groups at a time. At least if the rate of hiatus and disbandment over there is any indication. They know how to train an idol group but they sure as heck can't keep them. That said, Dreamcatcher has their wins now!

I like the video except for the initial disclaimer at the beginning which is ridiculous and impossible, but I understand why Mera put it there. It's basically the standard 'don't get mad at me I had nothing to do with this' statement to cool off the more volatile members of the Kpop fandom. If I didn't have strong feelings about Dreamcatcher and their struggle to succeed I wouldn't be watching this at all. Dreamcatchers biggest piece of luck is having one of the most decent and straight arrow agencies in Kpop. They never gave up on them and always had their backs. By contrast Everglow's agency has mismanaged and almost destroyed the group. They're supposed to have a comeback album this month after almost two years. It will be interesting to see what happens. Yuehua Entertainment, their agency, is a massive company based in China, represents dozens of artists, and has a lot of money. Happyface/Dreamcatcher Company represents Dreamcatcher so all their focus is on them. That makes all the difference.
