Thank you so much for sharing the story and the beautiful scenery of Quinton in the Cotswolds region of England. The Cotswolds region has always been a favorite part of England because of its natural beauty. ❤😊

I am a minder for the Monarch’s Way path between Long Marston and Chipping Camden. I look after the path as much as is possible. The stories surrounding witchcraft are interesting.

Another interesting and enlightening tour! The church, with its amazing spire, is filled with history so I hope Restoration experts will make every effort to preserve the building for future generations. The village and surrounding areas are so peaceful, but it seems the “planners” did the village no favors by allowing such a mix of styles and materials. Thanks for opening our eyes to another Cotswold “gem”!

I lived in here 20+ years ago as husband was in the military i revisted 6 years ago I lived in Bastyan Avenue and was horrified by the changes! My old house gone replaced with a new housing estate 🙄 the pub the Gay dog was gone replaced by another housing estate. The locals who ran the local shops post office butcher's etc were the friendliest kindest people I've ever met and made me feel welcome.

love this series, yes the planners have let the historic environment down but, to a greater or lesser extent, they operate within the constraints or otherwise of the current political regime.

Thank you Robin,Ross and Widget, that was an intriguing story today! Beautiful place but I feel the planners are eating up a lot of our historical past, carving up any available land to put up insidious developments. It's happening unfortunately, all over the country.

Planners are swayed by money. I often look at a house or group of houses and think to myself, ‘How on earth did they get planning for that’?
