King Edward "Longshanks" I, Hammer of the Scots, Lord of Wales and King of England from how he was pictured in the video he is definitely unlikeable, unless a golddigger who treats his wife/family like shit and shoots at random people who don’t agree with him is someone good? Of course in a show you can make anything up to fit the story better but this is very far from the mainstream “honest underdog who proved them all wrong” story.

He was born in 1747. America didn't really have standardized spelling till 1828 unless you were _very_ dedicated specifically to reading to import a Samuel Johnson 1755 dictionary of British spellings. Before then and likely a good bit after then, whatever spelling you felt worked was basically valid.

Sad that Mr. Terry missed the dad joke, after making his first boatload of cash it said "[Timothy Dexter] realized that there were a lot of 'bucks' in Malden." Bucks being another word for male deer, which he was assigned to count. I had a good guffaw at that. RNG stands for random number generator It's a perception (maybe) of how in computer games loot is distributes. Once you loot a chest or a monster the random number generator determines if you get some good loot or just crap. So praying to the lord of RNG once in a while will increase your luck to get good loot (very much like praying to the Lord in Heaven will make your lives easier). Obiviously the messiah of the lord of RNG is his son RNGesus.

Explanation time!: "RNGesus" is a non-serious deity created by the video gaming community. His name comes from mixing Jesus and RNG, which stands for "Randomly Generated Number". RNG refers to mechanics that add randomness to a game, similar to dice rolls in Dungeons and Dragons. This is a term mostly used by the Speedrunning community, though the most broad part of the gaming community adopted it and turned into "RNGesus", a fickle god that grants his boons to anyone whenever he feels like it.

Dexter isn't a story about failing upwards. That implies that the actual results of his actions turn out bad, yet he still gets a reward. A better term is "stumbling into success" where you don't really put any thought into your decisions, but get lucky enough that it just works out.
